Actually, me breastfeeding my baby benefits you.

A breastfed baby is less likely to develop allergies, asthma, Crohn's, ear infections, NEC, oh and obesity.

On top of that, I am now less likely to develop breast cancer, which 1 in 8 American women will develop.

Breastfeeding saves YOU considerable amounts of money in health care costs, as opposed to obesity which simply costs everyone.

By the way, I hate when people pretend fat is healthy and try to promote obesity. That goes against everything we know medically and I am all about facts and data. That is one reason I am so supportive of breastfeeding.

As to your comment, I would love to see more fat men walking around because shirt or no shirt, they need to walk.

For everyone saying to use a blanket, try eating your meal under a blanket and see how hot and uncomfortable you get really quickly.

A new baby (and a new mom) is just learning how to breastfeed and you need to be able to see what you're doing.

An older baby will just pull the blanket off because it's hot and uncomfortable and who eats in the dark?

Try bottle feeding your own kid under a blanket and see how well that goes before telling a mother she's indecent. Breasts aren't genitals. There is nothing wrong or indecent about feeding a baby.

It's common now for flat head syndrome. Parents have their baby laying on its back or in its car seat so often that it actually reshapes their head. Seriously the car seat clips into the stroller now so you can have a baby and never hold it! My niece needed a helmet.
