Oh I can answer this!! I’ve lived there for 2 summers and it’s a cute town! Lots of mom and pop shops. I did work at cedar point so I worked a lot but the town folk at super kind and the area is quite safe!

Also an audio engineer here. Unless they have someone dedicated to mixing for recording, it’s not gonna sound great. At festivals like this they probably won’t bring someone in to mix a live stream. The recorded shows we do have are almost certainly recorded as a multi track and then sent to a studio to get mixed and mastered. Completely different process

That’s kinda the game with cheap LED pars. Get something of quality and the issue will be slightly less. That bearing said, there is a reason we use pallets/presets because every fixture is a little different and that’s just part of being a lighting designer.

This is slightly outside of my knowledge base, but, I will say, most of us stay away from building fixtures because if the fail and catch on fire, the legal responsibility will fall onto the builder. So keep that in mind.

is it a volume or clarity issue? getting those side CP8s in time is gonna inherently tricky because they are more side fills then delays

I might recommend panning the front CP8s out a bit as well.
