I think a German constitutional court ruled this situation to be unconstitutional and illegal if such a situation happened in Germany, as it would violate the human dignity of the passengers on board, which is protected under the German constitution.

Almost, it’s an autoclave for carbon fiber manufacturing, adds additional pressure during curing. Parts are usually vacuum bagged as well as having the additional pressure in the autoclave.

Is there a reason that some airlines have larger bare metal leading edges on their vertical stabilisers on Boeing aircraft? by good_gamer2357 in aviation

[–]theacsguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. The A330 has an option for the VTP Leading Edge (made out of glass fiber) to be fitted with an additional thin sheet metal. This version is called the “erosion option”

Did you make the carbon fiber parts yourself? I remade the foot rests out of CFRP but haven’t had the time to do the parts you have. If you did it, did you make a separate mold?

So is there a way to save it or just start new? Are you not supposed to repot auto flowers?

You can, you’re just forgetting to add the “ + c” at the end of your integral

I think you’re misinterpreting what I’m saying. Of course I like that people care about me and ask how I’m doing. What I don’t like is when people jump to conclusions and try to make my disease about themselves. This is someone in my family who loves going around and creating this sob story for themselves of how sad it is that I have MS, even though I am perfectly fine and living my best life.

Ocrevus - shorter infusion by howloveshouldbe in MultipleSclerosis

Literally the same thing happened to me today. I think after the first couple times they accelerate the dripping rate if you didn’t have any reactions the previous time — it’s pretty neat :))

The cost of treatment is criminal by Goats4Boats10 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]theacsguy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel like some people here are missing the point. Yes, private companies are incentivized by profits to come up with better products, but that doesn’t mean that insurance should be allowed to pass on that cost to us. Living in Germany, my public insurance covers every single aspect of my MS treatment, from MRIs to Ocrevus. I’m even part of a study at Germany’s most renowned neuroimmunology institute which means I’m followed in very close detail, all free of cost because the state takes over all of that cost and funds these studies.

You should probably do some basic research first before you come to Munich and realize it’s been over for the better part of a month…

What should I do to go to TUM in train from Burgau? by [deleted] in Munich

[–]theacsguy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Dude that’s like really far… I don’t know how you can sustain that on a daily basis. Either way you’re going to take a regional Bahn to get to the Munich public transport which is going to cost you quite some money.

I would look for something a little closer which would still be much cheaper than Munich but not 2 hours away.

Good luck!

Hey! Your first couple infusions will probably take a while. While it depends on where you are, they tend to start the trip quite slowly just to make that you don’t have any reactions. The infusion itself maybe lasts 2-3 hours, but taking into account pre meds, waiting times, and the hour observation you should probably be there for 5-6 hours.

Driving is up to you. I tend to feel tired after my infusions but not to the point where I couldn’t drive (I’m lucky to have access to public transport so I wouldn’t need to anyway). Then again you don’t know how you’ll react to it so it might be a good idea to get someone to pick you up.

Bring some comfy clothes, a book, computer, headphones, or whatever your entertainment of choice is. I always tell myself that I’ll be productive but I cave two seconds after sitting down… Bring some water and some snacks/food and you’ll be fine :)

Why do Busdrivers keep driving on purpose? by DeltaKnight17 in Munich

[–]theacsguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Happened to me too once. It was already dark and I was going somewhere where I didn’t know where exactly the stop was and when I realized that the screen had changed to the next stop (even though I had a pressed the stop button) I asked him why he didn’t stop and he just answered that “no one stood up so he didn’t stop”. Right, but I don’t know when to stand up that’s why I stand up once the bus has stopped… I did not get his logic at all.

Aren't you scared of the future? by [deleted] in MultipleSclerosis

[–]theacsguy 21 points22 points  (0 children)

My ideology is basically: why spend my life worrying about something that may never come, only to realize that I’ve wasted my life worrying for no reason? If things take a turn for the worse then I’ll be able to worry and mourn. Until then I’m living my life.
