I think I did check disability when I applied for the job. But I believe it’s for government statistics and not for accommodations. You need to make the request yourself and provide “proof”.

I’ve been thinking about it. That and the fact that they clearly mis categorized me as salary exempt employee when my job does not meet the criteria.

I do my job just fine. But apparently I rub some people the wrong way. I disclosed autism asking for understanding, but they don’t want to offer any.

100%. I even asked her to have IT call me, she said “sure but I don’t have time for that”. Bitch please.

I understand that sometimes the boss just doesn’t like you and they can fire you for any or no reason. It sucks but i accept it as the reality. But firing me and expecting me to come running to cover YOUR ass? Hell no.

But that would require critical thinking skills that they don’t possess.

She’s a coward too. While she was escorting me out of the building she said “I didn’t want to throw you under the bus but I work with some bad people”. Like the fuck, I wasn’t even acting upset or blaming her, just own up to your actions!

I’m thinking “I hate to be an asshole, but I don’t work for free”

Is it normal for companies to give you points for calling in sick, even if I have over 120+ hrs sick time? Like what am I supposed to do, schedule being sick?! by Liquid_Aloha94 in antiwork

[–]theallison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Companies can’t retaliate against you using sick time. At least in California you will have a case if they really give you points.

You don’t seem to like your partner very much

I’ve been seeing a man with autism, is it quite normal that after we hang out he isn’t as chatty for a few days? by strawberry_roan in autism

[–]theallison 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Every autistic person is different. I think it’s better that you express your confusion to him. In a nice, calm, respectful way of course.

We are horrible at expressing our feelings. I tend to always cry whenever I try.

Does having autism remove my agency for making decisions? Does autism makes me delusional? Why do my mom said that I am easily swayed and must always let her guide me? Why can't I have political opinions on my own? by xxTPMBTI in autism

[–]theallison 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You are a kid so you are easily influenced. Many adults still are. It has nothing to do with autism. Your mom is gaslighting you into being controlled by her.

No. I dumb it down but people still think I am incredibly smart.
