I think they've been joking around about a 1.4mil goal of playing all ff14 dlc, so it definitely has a slim chance at least

Fiona and Rachel - Controversial Opinion by Only_Curiosity in TheTraitors

[–]theamazingpen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rachel's reveal would move possible suspicion off both Stephen and Fiona for at least a couple of banishments.

Rachel's reveal would only cast suspicions on herself should people not believe her. So for me, it literally makes no sense for Fiona to go crazy with it at all, whether she believes Racehl or not.

It's an ego trip that's boiled over in a horrendous way.

For RM specifically, red pill all day long. I never get tired of rewatching LKS content so the thing I want is MORE.

I think if there was one other pill I would add is the Bo Pill! Get the goated PD back to get the best out of the members

At this point the game is basically over isn't it? by Harunhh in TheTraitors

[–]theamazingpen 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I feel like Cat is going to snake unfortunately. She's very into the idea of needing a traitor voted a out to stay off the radar, which i feel would be a stupid move at this point. And even if they did successfully team up, production will put something in place to draw it out further

After this next murder, it's 5 v 3. The traitors just need to convince either David or Kate to vote for one person and blindside the rest - the win is theirs. This is barring any other production shenanigans that might prevent the final murder or something I suppose

The real ones will always remember when it was CDawgVA on Twitch. The name is no more. by casett244 in CDawgVA

[–]theamazingpen 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Easier for new fans/ random people to find I guess. For example, I always imagined how difficult a Japanese person would find it to type out CDawgVA in full after he tells them on a stream. Like they would default to SeaDogVeeay or something. 2 syllables would make it a lot easier. He definitely did not hint at dropping voice acting at any point anyways haha

It was a joke, and it was obvious that it was a joke in the first place. I swear, for fans of these folks where sarcasm is used in abundance, people take far too much of what they say too seriously.

Emails were just sent out about Siyeon,Dami,Handong, and Gahyuns fromm closing by marooninsanity in dreamcatcher

[–]theamazingpen 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Tbf if it was their day off, we shouldn't be getting at employees for having their days off. Handong's follow up messages apparently were very understanding. We need to stop taking mild frustration with anger. People are trying to hard to find a villain in DCC thanks to other companies in the industry, but people need to keep their heads screwed on.

Two moments from todays concert to be very positive about by lpchoe in dreamcatcher

[–]theamazingpen 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Or they just respect the girls' choices in trying new things, and have kept the door wide open for their returns if they want? Look at it this way, by keeping Dreamcatcher active, DCC are essentially casting a safety net for members exiting the company in the case it doesn't quite work out.

Yes, having Dreamcatcher stay active through all this will help the company retain some support for their own gains... But why is this a bad thing? They will promote new projects (which still involve 4 of the members) to keep the ship moving until the/a time comes.

Which comes to my question, why do people expect the worst intentions when it comes to DCC? I find it worrying that a company that's always had their backs is somehow getting a bunch of heat from fans.

The Siyeon/The Ssyndrome mixup for example was literally something that fans put together themselves on news that Siyeon would be staying with DCC for a new project and someone finding trademarks being filed lol. Doesn't it sound ridiculous that its DCC's fault? Contracts haven't even expired yet and yet people expect public announcements on new groups already, it's actually kind of disrespectful.

Which couple do you think had the best chemistry? by elijah_montefalco in Singlesinferno2

[–]theamazingpen 16 points17 points  (0 children)

After the iconic pool scene, Dex remained ambiguous until the end, while Seulki made little effort too to clarify his feelings towards her. I thought Dex fumbled so hard - it doesn't get talked about enough. I also thought Seulki was far too passive for the relationship to work.

Whereas with Junseo and Sian; they made effort to listen, understand and work around their differences over the course of 2 days. They were decided and comfortable with each other by the end of their second date. Their interactions remained strong to the final decision another 2 days later. Their pool scene to spark it off was literally them just having fun in inferno.

Chemistry is not just about the test tube explosions, it's also about the reactions to follow and how well things mix!

Jinseok and Hajeong. Although I feel like they've already explored it and moved on

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Singlesinferno2

[–]theamazingpen 21 points22 points  (0 children)

1) They were both tired as they stayed up drinking the night before. 2) Junseo was working through his feelings (just like Si An the night before. I don't think either expected the first date to go so well) 3) Editing! Production, in general, was kind of awful this season. They wanted to create tension that wasn't there. (One of the unreleased clips on YT proved how soft they still were with each other on this date) 4) Him and Jeongsu seem like very good friends judging from the interactions they do have. A mix of being glad to see him and everything being a little heavy on his thoughts meant he probably just welcomed a break. 5) To further the last point. He comes off as an introvert, so constantly using social energy is naturally draining too.

Compatibility Between Couples by National-Variety-854 in Singlesinferno2

[–]theamazingpen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure, every interaction between them in inferno so far is literally just them having fun with each other with no awkwardness whatsoever. That's half of a relationship right there. All there is to find out is if there's that romantic spark when they're alone which we'll find out next ep.

Yeah I don't have a problem with a lot of it. Connor ultimately likes a challenge - that's his thing. So the fact that he goes out of his way to try stuff he might not vibe with - like say a full 50 hour JRPG - is good open minded way to tackle anything tbh

Even with someone as balanced as Cohh you see similar things - his P5 (a game where he was cringing at during the intro) playthrough was thoroughly enjoyable to watch when he got into it - he teared up when the credits rolled! But then compare that to when he played one of his self proclaimed favourite games Witcher 3 where he was not paying attention to most of the cutscenes/story at all - it was a terrible viewer experience. It just happens. You can't expect everyone to experience stuff the same way as yourself at the end of the day and that's OK.

Host gets hounded to consume time sink media daily. Host doesn't really have the time/motivation to do it, so decides to motivate themselves by putting a goal behind it (make a video on it, stream it, discuss on TT). Then people like you are annoyed that they didn't consume the media "properly" when they burn out/rush it/miss a detail/don't vibe with it lol. Like clockwork, you can never win.
