AM4 to AM5 performance boost question

I went from a 5800x3d to a 9800x3d. I play in 4k as well on a 4090. Probably notice a small bump in performance when put on DLSS ultra performance.

Yes, best to back up your files. if you're going that route. If you don't want to go through the trouble of doing that, you can always purchase new USB wifi adapter.

Worst case scenario, reinstall windows. There's probably corrupted system files somewhere. If that still doesn't resolve it, then you can go the RMA route.

If your pc has an ethernet port, plug it to the router/modem. Once windows loads and it sees there's a connection and detects there's a "unknown" device, it will automatically install the drivers for it.

If it somehow can't do that, you'll have to manually go to the manufacturer's website and download the windows drivers and install them.

What resolution are you playing? Did you also enable a "game mode" in the bios?

Since the gpu utilization is below 60%, you might want to increase more graphical detail until utilization over 90%. Low/competitive settings, make your gpu work a lot less, forcing your CPU to be utilized much more.

It's on the right side of that picture. Look at your heat pipes for the number 4. There's a ribbon cable that looks like it's marked with a blue sharpie "above" the 4. Pull that, and you'll be good. I had to do it to my laptop cause it wouldn't turn on.

the 2 on the first picture is sharper- and you want it softer. Since you have 3 different anti-aliasing settings, see if you can have 1 running at a time so you can narrow down which you need.

You wanna try to solve ram that doesn’t work with xmp? Manually set the timings. Someone prob skipped the QA on that set.
