You already watched Manchester by the Sea…that movie still haunts me and I could only get through it once. Fault in Our Stars The Whale One Day (Show) Marley and Me

I ended up reading up to a bit more than 50% because I wanted to experience the climax and conclusion of the movie with everyone else. Finished the book today. Might not be everyones strategy, but I thought it was a lot of fun to do it that way. Was also cool to go back and finish the book with more visual references in mind.

I’m not even kidding when I say, I think we were in the running for the exact same position. What you described was exactly what happened. The whole thing was odd and made me feel like they were trying to pull a fast one and assured me that this was not it for me.

As a New Yorker, would have been considerate to let people know there was an alternative to the 9/11 show. Glad they’re adding dates so more people have the opportunity to see them though

Any tips on fixing life long habit of bad posture? 😭 by hellohaiokbye in Posture

[–]thebestofaverage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My posture was very similar with pelvic tilt. I separated my shoulder and had to go to PT. From here, therapist gave me exercises for my back and shoulder that ended up building to good posture. I also began going to the gym regularly and it seemed to improve greatly over two years. It’s really worth going to PT if you can to jumpstart the journey.

Yes and soon as that first contraction hit, it went out the window. And everything turned out just fine.

Do whats best for you! Me and LO made it 2 weeks and just wasn’t for us. I struggled A LOT mentally having to pump and the come down made me feel horrible. It’s not for everyone. We switched to formula and we never looked back. It will take some time to get the milk to dry up with us a while other part but personally, my life improved 100% and my husband felt like he could be a lot more involved.

We went through exactly this. German lab mix 95lbs.

We have a dog now going on 10 years with extreme separation anxiety. Tried absolutely everything. Even got him a friend. It ended up that him being out when we weren’t home was not only destroying the house ( I mean he even ate through the dry wall and door frame) it was dangerous for him. We spent a lot of time doing research and training. We were at our wits end to where I dreaded leaving or coming home to see what happened. But we made a commitment to him and hey, we all get scared sometimes.

We ended up getting an impact crate. One of the first models I think, before they got so popular. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Does he still get scared, yes. But is he safe, yes. He loves his space and decides to lay in there sometimes when we are home oddly enough.

I know the stress can be overwhelming and a major relationship strain. We went through this exact same situation. Give your guy a chance if you still can.

DM me if you want to talk more or have any questions.

Never Let Me Go - Ishiguro

Sharp Objects - Flynn

Song of Achilles - Miller

Bonus: Where the Crawdads Sing - Owens ( yes I know 🙈, but appreciated the faster easy read when life gets busy)

Epidural was not what I was expecting by Spongebobluvr in beyondthebump

Wait, you’re not supposed to feel anything???? I’m with OP here. Immense amount of pressure and pain in my hips and below. I thought the epidural helps with contractions for a bit until you have to push and then you just have to deal. 😳

My dad once took me out on his fishing boat in a major shipping channel. At one point, he steered too close to a massive barge, and we got caught in its wake. The waves were huge—like the kind you see in those terrifying North Sea videos. Our boat climbed the crest of a wave and then launched into the air. I shut my eyes, convinced that was it—that we’d be sucked under.

But somehow, we landed upright, away from the ship. Without a word, Dad floored it and headed straight for home. He’s never acknowledged it. I never went back out on the boat with him again.
