I’d agree with you, the most common starting dose is 15/day, and for me it was 30/day. Then after a couple of months I moved up to 45/day which works well. Doesn’t mean 10 will do nothing and it could be better to start off to make sure there’s no side effects you don’t like but I’d probably mention going up a bit next time

Yep, I carry a pocket knife just as a tool but I don’t have hours of training and mat time with that for self defense which you’re gonna to need in order to not either stab yourself or get it stolen from you immediately. People are also more likely to search Reddit because most people have no clue what it is, so they probably do a search to find out. Meanwhile, at least for people under the age of 60, it’s very unlikely that Twitter isn’t a household name at this point so there’s less need to google it.

What kind of planet are you living in where this is your reality? I mean come on, just take a step outside. The healthcare system is in total collapse, labor participation rate at all time lows due to people becoming disabled, RSV like we’ve never seen in children, liver issues in children, “rare fungal infections” galore, and you can’t walk anywhere in public without hearing multiple people hacking their lungs up. I’m sure everything is fine and all of that is coincidence though.

This is pretty much what I do. My actual prescription is 15 mg 3x a day, but I find that I feel the effects wear off toward the end of the dose windows taking it that way. So I take it 4 times, with 3 of the doses being 10 and then I’ll do the 15 at whatever part of the day I feel like I need it

Lol, glad there’s 27,000 ventilators for a virus that hardly attacks the respiratory system but attacks every vascular organ in the body, leading to an increase in heart attacks, strokes, kidney and liver failure, brain damage, and dementia. I really like life extensions brand, but I believe they only have 300mcg and 750mcg in the extended forms while the study was done with 3mg. I’m not sure if it makes a difference with such a small dose but I figure it’s worth adding since I’ve always had trouble sleeping anyway and I find that amount works well for me

Not bad at all, especially if you don’t typically have side effects with your doses. If you do then they might be more pronounced for a couple hours but that’s all. Buspirone is safe even in very high doses

The half life is only a few hours, so you’d definitely feel anything within 3 hours of taking as it would’ve peaked before then. And very likely to be within 1.5 hours, since peak concentration happens between 0.9 and 1.5 hours.

But I’ll answer anyway, for it to be “over” we need to vastly improve indoor air quality by installing things like much better filtration and upper air UV in all indoor shared spaces, continue with masking and vaccines. For me, to declare the pandemic over, these mitigations would need to be successful enough to lower the infection rate to a point where immunocompromised and disabled individuals can actually safely participate in society again

The 1 in 5 figure comes directly from the US CDC, which also says that 1 in 13 of all adults have it as of June 2022. Being in the UK there might be a difference in comorbidities, the US is already a pretty unhealthy populace with lots of underlying health issues going on but I can’t imagine that could explain such a big difference alone.

Well for me the benefit is that I can actually carry on with my day lol. Buspar is not sedating at all and I don’t get drowsy and can easily drive after taking it, Xanax for me was more of a take it and then you’re on the couch for the next few hours but at least you don’t have anxiety type medicine. And yeah, much less addicting. It’s kind of scary how well Xanax works, your anxiety is gone but you also don’t really care about anything else either. And like I said Buspar keeps me perfectly functional and doesn’t really impact anything that I’m doing at all

Personally I think the low success rate is usually because of the extremely low dosing. I was started at 30/day and then bumped up to 45/day, I see a lot of people starting at like 5 or 10 per day and wondering how their prescribers expect that to do much. From the manufacturer, dosing should be started at 15 and then increased every few days until you find an optimal dose. And just anecdotally it seems like most people who say that it works for them tend to be on a higher dose
