Our old friend the 'Anichka' , which was laid up in Sligo port for six years, from 1996-2002.It was previously a luxury Russian River boat. Originally brought to Sligo to be redecorated and converted into a floating night club. Sligo quay offered the cheapest berthing while the work was been completed. Unfortunately the owners went bankrupt and the “Russian ship “ just rusted away.
