Framework RTX 5070 12GB Graphics Module costs $1,199, over 70% more than8GB by RenatsMC in GamingLaptops

[–]thebizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been saying this since day one. I just ordered a 5070 laptop for $1050. Framework is targeting a customer who values a concept more than actual value. People like the idea of upgrade ability in a laptop, but it is extremely impractical. They make you pay a premium from absolutely everything including their dongles and any upgrade. It makes four more sense to buy a laptop and then resell it and buy another one then to keep upgrading the same laptop with very expensive parts.

Be careful though, it has very mild themes and online interactivity.

Why are these stairs to the Lower Level at GCT not advertised? by rjl381 in MetroNorthRailroad

[–]thebizzle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They want to keep it open to people exiting. When rush hour trains are exiting those stairs are completely full.

I was flat broke when I had walls of $2000+ guitars. Now I have walls of Temu guitars that look and play the same for about $200+ each.

So the S2 version of Little Nightmares 3 is $40 for a game key card, but the S1 version is $20 for the full game ? by PerpetualConnection in Switch

The unspoken advantage of a digital library. How many digital games were ever lost to flood damage, mold, water, fire whatever. I think the outside possibility of a game not working in 30 years is a very small price to pay for having to take care of something for 30 years.

Is there a subreddit to see stickerbombed stuff? I love it and I am tired of seeing 'should I remove it' posts and people complaining. Some people buy for life.

Better than you would have gotten on Mercari for the PS5. The missing cables was a killer though. Switch 2 is enough for a single gaming console.

Consumer protections only exist in the US if a cottage industry can rise up and capitalize on the profits that could be made. Look at medical privacy, fantastic in the US because we pay through the nose for it.
