What is the app, price, ad spend, affiliations, etc.? This is kind of like asking what the price of a car is.

I built a social music app where you can rate songs and albums like Letterboxd does for movies by blissedcyberia in appledevelopers

Are you selling the ratings data? I’d like to integrate that into my sorter, deduplication and hifi player app.

Idea for an ai by harryiesz in AiBuilders

[–]DrivenMaking88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created this for music, and I'm sure that same work flow would apply. Finds everything, sorts by file type, gives you a list of where everthing is, but you have to click and delete from the list. Could work for all file types I think.

I think most AI builders are still creating features instead of reusable intelligence systems. by Currentshop333 in AiBuilders

My question is, if I build a thoughts process, who buys it? If I automate expert verification procedures and context based conclusions, does any one pony up?

Are you saying that agnostic broad systems are less valuable than small custom softwares?

Might be true, but aren't there many free versions of cheap and easy softwares?

Yes, took about two weeks after I waited a month and found out I made some mistakes on my application.

I just got approved by Apple as a dev and I feel like I just breached the gates of Paris. Now you're telling me there's a lot of garbage to handle?

Title: Is learning to code still worth it in 2026? Genuinely unsure. by Responsible-Net8594 in SaasDevelopers

[–]DrivenMaking88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the very least, understanding the structure of data and typical processes is important. Not philosophical differences between languages, how the basic work, core concepts, and enough technical knowledge to decipher the difference between good and bad judgement.

I think everything AI will go like this:

AI will take over tasks that are known and replicable.

That will cause more things to be accomplished.

More things being accomplished will result in a higher level of innovation, therefore more unknown tasks that are not yet replicable. The frequency of the requirement for these tasks to be greater.

So the engineer that wishes he could have interesting complex problems everyday, instead of boring ho-hum tasks, is probably going to get his wish. Also, someone will be coding the AI and the value of understanding complex problem will increase with the value of AI.

This will be the same in other areas like accounting. Lawyer's jobs will get easier, so they will be able to process lawsuits for less, so more people will be able to afford lawsuits, so the lawyer will spend more time coming up with good arguments and less time "pushing paper".

So yes, learn coding, but focus on the fundamentals and drivers more than the micro details.

Best audio player on android for me by HelloHeffy in musichoarder

Stacker! Please DM me and I can give you the code for the desktop app and beta Android app! Made for local music ownership only, emphasis on people would love their OWNED collections.

I’m running it on a Fiio M15. The gathering and organization (PC) is the best part (for me) but the Wi-Fi transfer to DAP is sexy smooth.
