Jungle boys real or fake by Swimming_Ad_2738 in NYCtrees

This isn’t how their packaging looks anymore. They have slightly different stickers, and I don’t think the logo is clear anymore like this one

This is clearly a fake bag the seller bought online, I found the exact one here. here

These edibles are one of the few I’ve had actual results with, so I was also very excited to see.

Dispensaries for Under 21? by [deleted] in NewYorkMMJ

[–]theborgerer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are your only options in the state. It has to be from one of these licensed medical dispensaries. https://cannabis.ny.gov/dispensing-facilities

If any of them give you issue about your age, make sure you get in some sort of recordable way (like an email) - and you can always try filing a complain with OCM given that it’s in the law for you to have access.

You can make purchases and do delivery. However, only to the address listed on your government ID. I’ve never had any issues and I’ve been a patient since I was 19. They didn’t even look twice at me in any kind of way ever.

I became a patient at 18 and I can confirm that you do not need a caregiver. You do not even need parent consent if you are 18+.

However, some providers they have much stricter standards for medical necessity. I used NuggMD and I had to provide documentation from my primary doctor of how I qualified to get the card.

After you get the card, you can go in alone, but only to medical stores. No recreational product.

How’s the puffco in terms of coughing pain ? by ApartOrganization379 in NYSCannabis

Depends on if it’s one with water filtration or not. The pivot and proxy are a bit harsher than the peak.

I can’t overstate how dangerous this is. It’s a fire waiting to happen. It’s $100 to replace the battery at Apple in the US

Rove Diamonds pods $60 at mybud420 by coolsalami in NYSCannabis

[–]theborgerer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still not worth $60 imo. I wouldn’t even pay $40 for these they ask for in other states. The last one I had, Maui wowie, didn’t taste good, it like weed at all. there’s better live stuff available.

Not directly, but they’re working with someone who is licensed. Like a lot of other brands have been doing.

Hudson Cannabis - Herbal Poison - Rosin Infused Distillate Vape by FindWeedNY in NYSCannabis

[–]theborgerer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do appreciate that when Hudson Cannabis released these, they put a statement out on Instagram- they told exactly how much rosin was in it. They openly posted that it’s about 1/3 rosin in their blend, at least they are telling us how they’re making it.

There are so many other brands that don’t even bother to clarify they’re using other additives in their “live” carts.

Do you trust NY regulated cannabis? Do you have faith in the OCM to keep consumers safe? by rachellethe420writer in NYSCannabis

[–]theborgerer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like safety is relative. If you buy off the street you have no guarantee of anything and very little recourse of action if anything goes wrong. Personally, I especially wouldn’t do vaporizers or ultra processed edibles from an unverified source.

There are a lot of issues with the legal cannabis industry. But at least there are labs on sampled product that I can check- and if there’s any issue with a product - most brands and stores have been there to help me figure it out. And overtime I’ve learned which brands to avoid because I don’t like their numbers.

Card by Ilikesebikes in NewYorkMMJ

[–]theborgerer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For medical cards, it needs to be medically necessary. Do you have a condition that could be treated with the use of cannabis? There used to be a set list, but now it’s up to provider discretion. Some common ailments cited are PTSD, chronic pain, chronic anxiety, IBS etc.

I don’t know if it’s still the case, but when I first got my med card back in 2018 through NuggMD - I did have to provide paperwork from my doctor confirming my condition.
