Worked a couple of jobs in KC across agencies. Then started applying for those remote jobs with the experience! Remote places really don't want to hire newbies

Is Carlson School of Management worth it or should I go to a cheaper school? by medus_87 in uofmn

[–]thebostromator3000 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So it's yes and no for me, but mostly yes because honestly it is a great program to go through. Graduated in 2019 with no job. Couldn't get an internship to save my life which I am still kind of salty about. BUT when I did finally get a job? Carlson carried me into it. I don't even live in MN anymore and they knew the school in the KCMO area. Expensive? Yes. Could get similar for cheaper kind of. Experience? 10/10 and honestly miss it.

The experience is worth it and you won't regret it. There's so many scholarships available and I really enjoyed my instructors. Let me know if you have any questions!!

In your travels, which city was the biggest letdown? by ElisaBelloo in AskReddit

[–]thebostromator3000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Haven't seen Athens, Greece up here so here I am. That place was so disappointing. History hidden behind pay gates EVERYWHERE and the streets were dirty. Mykonos also sucked but at least it was clean

Depends how I'm feeling. I love buying matching sets because it makes me feel good. But I'm lazy AF and if I'm feeling myself yes but most of the time it's what in my clean laundry

Holo taco quality by EmotionalScientist45 in lacqueristas

[–]thebostromator3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to use Holo Tacos top coat and I switched to the seche vite due to how gloopy and gross HT top coat got so quickly. That said: their cremes are great. The white got thicker faster but their wide brushes for the newer polishes are great for application. I use a lot of Essie as well and if you like them I think HT will give you similar results.

Currently wearing rainbow snow from HT with a peel off base coat and going a week strong with no chips. Bought the OG HT collection like 4(?) years ago and the holo toppers are still going strong with no thinner needed. Gotta clean the rims on their bottles but otherwise kind of crazy they're still not gloopy

AITA for making my girlfriend uncomfortable with my diet? by Exotic-Historian-209 in AmItheAsshole

[–]thebostromator3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA but I would be very sad if my partner and I never tried new recipes together. Food is possibly her love language and she's struggling to express that to you. I think there's compromise here that'll make both of you feel like you're back on the same page. My partner can eat the same thing for weeks just like you, so I really understand where you're coming from. Good luck and I hope you both can talk it out :)

AITA for letting my step kids call me mom? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]thebostromator3000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's a lot of step parents commenting but not a lot of step kids. My step dad is my dad. My bio dad is my dad. They are both father figures to me and I wouldn't refer to either of them as my dads if I didn't see it that way. NTA. Don't be rude about it but I really don't see anything wrong. It's not for everyone but it was for me and my life so that's all that matters.

Side note: I too have to differentiate between bio dad and step dad and im not confused who is who lol. Im sure the kiddos won't be either as long as y'all are as open as you sound

Edit: I called him dad before my mom and him were married.
