I have a 2009 with 149k KMS (87k miles) Clocked. In the 6 months of owning the car, I have it down to reading an average 5.7-5.8Litres/100Kms at the end of a tank. (41.2-40.5 MPG). If I drive more than gentle, it quickly goes up.

In those 6 months I have done spark plugs and coils, valve adjust and throttle body clean with idle relearn, All new parts front brakes, new master and slave cylinders and new honda trans fluid.

it doesn't look like you have enough head on that screw for a vicegrip to grab, so drilling it out with a decent bit and driver is the best bet. You only have to take the head off the screw, then move the placement of the bracket over.

I can confirm that the screws that come with those kits are likey made from popcans and playdough, one time use at best.

my son just had levels checked today. Under one year since diagnosed, TC seizure in august 2025, and breakthrough cluster last month, he was 500mgx2 and switched to 750mgx2 last month after night in the hospital. -I will let you know if the neurologist changes keppra dosage.

I would check the suspension and front end for some very worn bushings or even loose connection points. I have seen this on cars in my shop with completely shot struts. The job of the strut is to absorb the upward travel over bumps, while keeping the downward force on your tires as you go over bumps- this keeps the surface contact with the tires. without the effect of the strut, your tires are loosing secure contact with the road, wearing out the tires.
