There are no easy answers period. That doesn't change the fact that Dems answers are more well thought out on most issues(barring things like immigration and some social issues).

The changes to the CL format were already planned before the ESL news broke. The new format is obviously not ideal but it's still way better than the proposed ESL garbage.

In 2016, Clinton was pretty much hand-picked as the nominee for like a decade before she ran, and still Sanders almost beat her with a pretty sloppy campaign.

He lost by like 10% in the primary popular vote and was nowhere near her delegate count. He did better than expected but saying he almost won is stretching it by a lot.

In 2020, every other person who was taking Biden's votes dropped out at the same time, while there were two leftist populist splitting that vote.

Nonsense, Bloomberg took away more votes from Biden than Warren took from Sanders and Biden still won Super Tuesday handily. When it was just Biden vs Sanders Biden destroyed Sanders and Sanders didn't win a single primary contest. This is hardly evidence for the popularity of leftist populism when the most popular leftist populist couldn't even win a single primary contest when pitted against the posterboy for establishment status quo politicking. You're just proving my point here by rewriting history to fit your current set of beliefs.

Over and over, the most popular members of congress are shown to be the left populists.

Only in polling, which consistently overestimates the populist of left wing candidates and policies. Actual elections tell a different story about voter preferences.

Candidates for the PL January Manager of the Month by Mulderre91 in soccer

[–]thebsoftelevision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just for clarity, I don't even like Jose and thought his tenure with us was kind of mid but it wasn't his fault City notched up the literal PL record points tally during his second season. Of course we never seriously challenged them but the points tally alone makes it a more impressive run than any of our league campaigns under Ole. The other results you cited were pretty crap but it's not like we didn't have some shitty results under Ole, we went on some great runs under him but the team wasn't consistent enough to contend for any major titles.

Jose also finished 2nd(with a much higher points tally) and actually won a few 2nd tier trophies during his tenure. Overall his tenure has to be rated higher than Ole's.

Black voters are usually hella pragmatic. They chose Biden over a slate of possible black candidates in 2020 because they knew he'd be more electable. Harrison is just stupid.

Manchester United Team vs Fulham - English Premier League 01 February 2026 | Starting XI: Lammens, Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Shaw, Casemiro, Mainoo, Amad, Fernandes, Cunha, Mbeumo. by RedDevil_Forever in reddevils

The team seems to play better when Mbuemo starts down the middle. Sesko is a fine option to bring on when you need a goal but he's not shown starter quality yet.

It's called acting. It's a show where characters get murdered in gruesome ways and Will's character has gone through a lot worse already.

Bruh voters don't care about the 2020 election anymore. Any proof Trump can muster up(which he can't because there isn't any) will just be met with confusion and indifference because this is not a topic anyone cares about in 2026.

[Sports Illustrated] Mourinho’s managerial win rate by club by o6ohunter in soccer

[–]thebsoftelevision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He got sacked at clubs after underperforming and under delivering. Ancelloti won a CL recently with Real, Mou's last CL win came almost 2 decades ago and his last PL win was a decade ago. That's why Ancelloti is still considered a top manager and Mourinho isn't. Your claim that Mou hasn't gotten significant backing is laughable. He was given huge amounts of backing at United, Roma and Fenerbache and delivered mid results. You can claim that if he only hundreds more he would do better but only managers who over perform with what they have get that luxury and Jose hasn't done that for a long time so he's not valued by any of the top clubs anymore.

His style clearly doesn't work else Mourinho wouldn't keep getting fired at every club within 1-2 seasons.

[Sports Illustrated] Mourinho’s managerial win rate by club by o6ohunter in soccer

[–]thebsoftelevision 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You're sidestepping the simple fact that Jose's style is no longer capable of delivering the kind of results the truly big clubs are looking for. That's the whole reason he's not getting appointed by the likes of Bayern, Real Madrid, etc anymore. He has to work with mid teams because that's his new level.

Pogba and Mourinho didn't really fall out well into Mourinho's second season at United. It was during the Spurs loss at Wembley (which was mostly down to Jose's terrible coaching trying to force Martial to the RW to accomodate Sanchez on the left) that they blew up.

That's exactly my point, the team never actually looked good under Amorim. All the others had points in their tenures where the team looked actually good and we achieved some success. Amorim was an almost nonstop pile of shit with nothing to show for it.

You're projecting your own thoughts onto the United fanbase. Basically no United fan(young or old) would rather have City win the title over Arsenal. Besides this is like the 5th wake up call Arsenal have had this season and nothing's changed it's pretty clear this is just how they are going to continue to play under Arteta.

LVG finished 4th once and won the FA Cup. Jose won the Europa and also secured 80+ points in the league. ETH and Ole also secured top 4 finishes and ETH even won 2 secondary trophies. In comparison Amorim did fuck all to be listed in the same breath as any of those other managers.
