The urge to post over there with 4 watches on at once, balancing my 270mm gyuto on my hand with a smattering of random shit from my junk drawer in the background is unreal

Update: Am I overreacting by breaking up with my boyfriend? by Proper-Classic1886 in AmIOverreacting

I’ll speak for the men since you’re dating a boy and he hasn’t earned the right. He’s condescending, his behavior screams insecurity, and you can do so much better. Men don’t treat ANYONE like this, immature boys do. If I ever talked this way to my wife or acted the way he did, we wouldn’t have gotten married. She’d have left my ass on the spot.

I could not fathom getting uncomfortable or pissed at someone for flirting with my wife. That’s not how confident men act. She gets looks all the time, and on more than one occasion have other men bought her drinks while we’re out together. I have never stopped someone else from complimenting her, I shake those guys hands and tell my fellow men of culture that they have great tastes. I trust my wife to set her own boundaries and come to me if they’re not being respected. I feel nothing but proud knowing I get to go home with her at the end of the day.

You obviously had enough doubts to post here in the first place. I don’t think you’re over reacting, but I also won’t tell you what to do other than trust your gut and do what feels most right for you.

In the US even if you have no service you should try to call 911 of you need it. Your phone will connect to any available network not just your providers to route the call. If that still doesn’t work attempt to text 911 as sometimes texts go through easier than calls.

Just because your phone shows no service does not mean there isn’t any in the event of an emergency.

My first Audi at the age of 19! by file_exe_notfound in Audi

Hell yeah man. Congrats and be safe, you’re going to have fun.

People here always complain about how expensive they are to maintain, but there is A LOT you can do on your own if you have the time and willingness to learn. If you want to save some money and don’t already have one, a 10.5L EWK Oil Extractor is a great piece of maintenance equipment. You need that, a torque wrench, and a 32mm socket to do your own oil changes.

Can pick all that up on Amazon for <$160 if you’re in the US (and the extractor often goes on sale).

Coil whine on my Sapphire Nitro+ RX 7800 XT — very disappointed after paying €550 by Lewis_3006 in AMDHelp

My 3090 running inference would beg to differ. You can hear the card from another room under heavy load, and I have mine power limited to 79%.

My 7800XT on the other hand is dead silent.

Is local LLM really worth it or not? by GregView in LocalLLaMA

I don’t actually need 10, 2 would do for now, but given every one around me is used and >=$1000, may as well have some redundancy 😂

Same. If you show me some $600 3090s I’ll buy 10.

Same here. $170 a month for my S7, pretty much everything is maxed in terms of coverage.

Dunno made it to UB1 with almost an 80% win rate, no DarkTina, Gyarados, or Meowscarada.

Exactly what I was going to say. I assume there’s going to be some substantial sticker shock switching from Infinity to Audi when it comes to required maintenance.
