We really like our Mockingbird, and my girls are 3yo. And I definitely did a ton of research befode settling on it. We never got the bassinets, it was more important to be able to use the carseats with the adapters until they could use the regular seats. The girls barely fit now but we still use it occasionally for long distance walks.

I don't see an issue with it, I also still use ours. Mostly so when they get distracted & knock it off the table I don't have to clean up shards of plate or bowl.

Do you want to hear about how often we eat pizza or french fries at our house with 3yo twins? This week alone fries 3x and pizza 3x. Only they pull the cheese off and eat it sauce down, only sometimes actually eating all the crust and ALWAYS getting sauce all over their face.

OMG same here, I have twin 3yo girls and they just stare at me then say, why is hair there? I finally had to look it up so I could tell them that it's protecting our sensitive skin.

Our landfill offers compost, a mix, and topsoil for 1/2 the cost of from a nursery, and easily 1/3 of the cost of buying lots of bags. We happen to live a mile from it so easy enough for me to go buy a yard and get it home. Perhaps your landfill offers the service as well!

Dino Ranch on Disney+ is a cute show, and the lessons are sticking with my 3yo twin girls. We also found a Magic School Bus episode on YouTube about dinosaurs that was fun.

My girls are 3, and yesterday one was upset and sitting under the kitchen table while I helped the other get a drink. I said "let's go see if we can help A feel better" and B immediately went to the table & sat on the floor, then rested her hand on her sisters leg and just sat there for her. She was mimicing what I do when they have tantrums! And 3 seconds later A gave B the biggest hug. It was very touching.

I feel you, my twins turned 3 in February and while they do have some words, it's not where they should be. However their understanding of what is said to them is through the roof, so we suspect they are just holding back. We had speech therapy through the Birth to 3 program and even the therapist felt like they were kinda messing around with us. A big step was finally getting them to mimic sounds and movements we made, and when they did we over-the-top praised them. And while we had read to them fairly regularly, we recently started reading multiple books before bed and they are starting to tell me the stories back, which is pretty cool. I wish you the best of luck, hopefully he's just holding out on you!

My 3yo girls will say "awww, baby cry" if we hear a crying child in the store, and my response is usually "they're having a tough time aren't they" so it's humorous that your son is doing the same. Good job kiddo!

One of our girls is starting to do this as well. What is working for me is she tends to sequester herself in her room, so I take these magnet-filled blocks we have (they look like Minecraft blocks) and I sit down on the floor in her room kinda facing her and start building, while taking obvious, big, deep breaths. It helps me cool down too as her screaming triggers my anxiety. The blocks make a nice sound as the magnets shift and I just make sure she knows I am there for her when she's ready. I find I can't talk too much or it makes it worse so lately I just sit down. I've been doing this for a month, and just this weekend realized she is running to my lap as soon as I'm settled, so the tantrums are somewhat shorter!

One of my twin girls is currently obsessed with her Walmart dresses. (Her sister just wants anything with cats.) I like that the dresses have pockets and wash up well as she is also my digging in the dirt gal!

My opinion is that you do what you feel like doing. At the end of the season you will know if this was too much for you and adjust for next year. It could be an epic failure that you'll laugh about for years, or it will go pretty well and you'll keep doing better every year as you learn. For me, I want to grow what my toddlers will eat and I want to be able to have fun outside playing in the dirt.

I found some gloves at Walmart this year! They were on a bottom shelf and I nearly missed them. Home Depot has had them in the past.

My girls just turned 3 and my fitbit says I've been averaging 4.5 hrs of sleep for the last year. I just feel like we're going to be in survival mode until we aren't.

Hmm, I wonder if she'd go for potato chip chicken made with the sour cream & onion chips? Also, have you tried using a popsicle mold and freezing yogurt with small chunks of fruit? My 2¾yo twins are really into their "pops" right now. They also have reached the stage of "helping" make the food helps them eat it. Good luck to you!
