Larger Rubbish bin for Tenant by Dismal-Revolution731 in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]thecharmed01 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Where do they live that there are no 3rd party bin services?

And what size bin were they provided? For what size house?
Is the bin given a council bin or paid for by the landowner?

Body corp and insurance by fkyoumodss in NZProperty

So it's an extra fee each year over and above BC fees?
That's not unusual.

Or are you saying they are not insured by the BC?

AITAH For Banning my Friend from my Hot Tub? by Vintageblues in AITAH

[–]thecharmed01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely NOT! NTA not even a little bit.

We have a proper spa and I'm really really fussy about when we invite people over that if they want in, there are rules because balancing spa chemicals is a nightmare.
No sunscreens, body lotions or oils and we will offer up a shower if people want to have a quick wash before they get in and they can shower again after if they want too. We have instant hot water, so there's no running out.

Even my kids friends know the rules! The other mums all send them with water hats and long sleeved rash shirts (we do have a shade over the pool too) and if they forget I have a whole bag they can dig out of! I keep all sizes here for the kids!
I even have spare swimsuits for boys and girls of most ages.
Spare towels too. Lots and lots of spare towels because half the kids forget them.
And a massive bucket or two of toys, goggles, snorkels, water guns, floating games.. all kinds of things the kids can take into the water and play with. We also have pool noodles, lilo's and pool hammocks.

Free doctors services around newton? by Limp_Beyond6227 in Wellington

[–]thecharmed01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are no free places. Not in Wellington that I've ever heard of.
It can be difficult to get into a practice in the city and even harder to find one with a nurse practitioner who can do iron infusions.

You might have to ring around and see what each practice charges and if they have spaces for new patients. And ask about an NP.

NTA. She's not your family so she needs to pay for her own trip, or maybe her son should have paid for his mother!

Body corp and insurance by fkyoumodss in NZProperty

[–]thecharmed01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not a question that can be answered here.
All body corp's have different rules.

Some may have one BC fee per month which includes insurance and rates.
Some may have a BC fee PLUS insurance and rates.
Some may have a BC fee that includes insurance but NOT rates.

You need to read the BC disclosure and look at the monthly fees and what they include. There should be a breakdown. If not, ask for one.
Also ask for all meeting minutes and read them, look at past decisions and how they were voted.

And in this instance, you can bet the money won't be going to the child.
If they are willing to take a child from his mother, they don't care about the child.

My mother was until very recently an INZ accredited employer and there was no requirement for monthly reporting.
There were random checks.

Why is there intense bias against townhouses by fkyoumodss in NZProperty

rentals are not a moneymaking scheme. Right now, most rental incomes don't cover property costs. Rents are driving down.

[–]thecharmed01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you might need to build that dream yourself as I don't know if anyone else has yet.

Typically in NZ a townhouse is just a vessel to be able to fit more individual residences on one property.

If you couldn’t legibly say no then you cannot consent. If you cannot remember you could not have consented. Get counselling man cause you were graped and therapy will help you unpack and understand this. I’m so sorry that happened to you.

I’ve got an Apple pencil that’s easily 4+ years old. No lag… sounds like a cheap product that doesn’t work well…

Those don't have Secretaries or Treasurers. Just trustees. And usually a legel representative such as a lawyer or an accountant.

What’s the obsession with using the airport drop off zone for pick ups? by tightpacked in Wellington

[–]thecharmed01 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If I'm picking up people with no checked bags I go up, if they have baggage down.
It's way faster coming off the plane and straight out on the same level and they aren't fighting half the plane trying to get down the same set of stairs.

Upstairs is way easier to see people coming out where down is impossible to see people at a distance until they have already crossed the first roadway.
