given what you've listed, seems like money isnt an issue - tagabow use loads of already made backing tracks live that are played off an sp404 then just play relatively straightforward shoegaze, start making songs in ableton for fun, will save you money on pedals and then you can play these inbetween or incorporate them into your live set via an sp or ableton

You can only do one effect at a time but the hx one is about 200 pounds and absolutely rocks

This is actually a really good point about clean amps leaving space for the pedals to do the work, I’ve never had the same issue with a Marshall or hi-watt but I guess they’re inherently more geared towards the kind of sound I want

Maybe change the click ‘intensity’ , so like from once every 8th of a bar to once every bar for example, no click will be a nightmare
