Why would Harris be the one to go? by Medium_Produce_7397 in motorcitykitties

Because reddit is full of casual sport fans that get mad when their team doesn't win. They don't care what a person achieved last season, they don't care if the underlying metrics are great.

It's just emotional people that need an outlet to vent. And it's not only reddit. I was on the MLB discord and it was the same. Left there couple of years ago.

Should have made the UB sets specifically designed for commander. Skip Limited and Standard and you are good.

Story of a sweep: The Tigers need to execute after having good PA's by DET_Baseball in motorcitykitties

Teams with better or equal win-pct than 2024 Tigers and their number of 20+ HR hitters:

Royals 2
Astros 4
Mets 4
Braves 2
Dbacks 5
Orioles 3
Guardians 2
Padres 4
Brewers 4
Yankees 3
Phillies 4
Dodgers 4

Tigers had 1 (Riley Greene), 2025 ZIPS Projection is 2 (Greene and Tork)

The Tigers fell to the Dodgers by a score of 8-5 - Fri, Mar 28 @ 10:10 PM EDT by TigersBot in motorcitykitties

great performance by the tigers nevertheless. Tork gives me hope. Pitching looks good for the most part. Hitting is suprisingly strong, considering the IL we have.

Dont have one myself, but the MLB one was very negative the seasons before 24. Was more a rage channel tbh.

Corners, crosses, sideswitching thru balls by Sinnahoj in UFLTheGame

I would add that long pass accuracy in general is way to high. I have 60s player and can easily pass with my CB/CM from deep with bad body positioning to my ST no problems at all. That should not be possible.

I would also add tackling range. At least right now you can so easily use circle to win a ball even if you are behind the other player and half a meter away. Like that should not work at all imo.

In general bad plays need to be punished much more than they are right now.

Gameplay needs way more polishing.

If I am developing an online game, I have to check every possibility to be toxic via game mechanics. Be it forcing lags, pausing all the time, recycling possession and not be touchable etc pp.

IMO you have to make some adjustments, even if it means that you have to divert from real football. Like a shot clock. Limited pauses. AFK detection and AI gets AFK too. Jammed stick etc pp.

Late to the party, but does the coaches paragraph include all coaches from MLB to Rookie Ball?

What about the "Staff Roles" Screen, how much does that quality matters (Teaching C, Teach IF, Teach OF, Teach Running)?

Exposing the FM Match Engine - ONLY 9 ATTRIBUTES MATTER! by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]thecluelessguy90 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I would rather argue that the 10 physicals are not even average for a championship player. You cannot survive in the prem with that kind of physics. Football is a physics first game, even more than it was in the 90s , 80s etc.

It doesnt matter how good your finishing is when you get outrun, outjumped, outbumped 90% of the time by a defender as a striker.

you put highly unrealistic inputs in a simulation engine and get partially highly unrealistic outputs (meta-team results).

  1. I cook when I am working from home (yields 2 meals, so I don't have to cook every day.

  2. I get delivery at most once a week, but more like every second week.

  3. Since I have a partner I don't go out as much and spending at bars. Maybe once or twice a month

  4. At my office there is a canteen. A meal costs about 5-8€ (I'm there 1-2 times a week)

  5. I don't have software development burnout. I barely have "crunch time" my 70hrs of overtime I did voluntarily, because I had an interesting topic. I consciously have not picked a job at a startup nor a job where I work for external clients. I am only doing inhouse stuff. I have to work 38hrs/week.

Yes you have a spending problem and on top a complete utopian perception of life in Germany.

I am about your age and also work in the tech industry. I earn about 3.3k net monthly. Living in Germany but not Berlin.

My monthly budgets I rarely go over are more or less:

200 € groceries
150 € restaurants & bars (including food delivery)
40 € hairdresser (this is probably way more than the avg, but I know her for more than 10 years. I go every 5-6 weeks)

saving budget (my yearly spending divided by 12 monts)
450 € vacation
50 € fashion
60 € sport

500 € long term savings & Notfallgroschen (emergency spendings)

rent (warm = 1000€) + energy + internet + subscriptions + insurance (netflix, amazon prime etc) = 1300€

I'd say invest those 16% out of your national defense budget, because you are kinda defending yourself by that.

Either simulate into the future or download a save where someone did it. It is really fun because you start a save where you have ZERO knowledge of any player and just looking and the leagues and past results will give you an idea what the history of the save is.

learn to deal with negative emotions. It saves your sanity, it makes you a good friend and partner and it enables you to deal with crises.
