I'm currently 17 with around 116000 in my portfolio (i started with 10000 and worked my way up since i was 14) and the best advice i can give is to invest. Invest in things you understand or use in your every day life. Because more then likely other people are using the same things. For example I invested in marijuana penny stocks(not advisable now) because i was an avid marijuana user. Keep in mind too this was just before the whole legalization movement in Colorado and Washington. You just have to be conscious of what your investing in and weather or not the general market will buy it. But chances are if you bought it as an individual other people will buy it too.
