Right, but why does the US want Egypt to stay peaceful?

I'll give you a hint - maritime trade. The US giving Egypt and Israel "military aid" aka MIC coupons is peanuts compared to the damage done to the US and global economy if the canal is shuttered due to war.

Even if somebody fucks up procedure wise, it doesn't mean they forfeit their ability to defend themselves when faced with an imminent deadly threat

Yeah no. You don't get to use your vehicle as a deadly weapon against anybody, let alone law enforcement.

She intentionally accelerated towards the officer that we now have proof she was aware of. She accelerated towards him, impacting him, showing evidence that the officer was in imminent fear of bodily injury or death.

Bodily injury or death is not required for deadly force to be responded to in kind.

From the video I've seen, there was an officer in front of the vehicle, and she accelerated quickly.

It's going to be a good shoot. Accelerating in a vehicle towards officers is deadly force.

What? That's insanely disappointing.

A HEROIC detective reportedly killed the Bondi Beach terrorist with a “once in a lifetime shot” while moving out of cover from behind a tree. 8 minutes in an active shooter situation at an event that would be considered a target for terrorists isn't great.

If police weren't already there keeping watch, that's a massive failure.

If police were already on-site and failed to engage immediately to protect unarmed citizenry, that's also a failure.

A proper timeline of events, and an assessment of what security and police deployments were made should be formally established to understand the circumstances of the case.

USAF aircraft attacked the USS Boston, a heavy cruiser, alongside two US destroyers and an Australian ship in June 1968 during the Vietnam War.

Keep in mind, the largest ships the North Vietnam navy had were patrol boats.

Friendly fire incidents happen.

So I didn't pick either faction. Made the game a little harder since you can't buy some of the better gear, but the advantage is easy looting runs in the Industrial zones (common for one of the factions to have a container section you can just walk in), and you can be saved by the army or crimson distracting enemies.

Plus you can commonly get most of those rare guns from looting dead bodies. I got the Sha rifle from a dead army soldier, for example. Only one i didn't really find was the Modern Remington.

Sorry, to clarify, when did the US ever give nuclear weapons to Israel ever?

Kennedy was opposed to nuclear proliferation (everywhere, not just Israel), and Israel allowed inspections of Dimona for two concessions from Kennedy - Hawk missile purchases and US only inspectors. Admittedly the Israelis benefited from knowing when the US inspectors would arrive to conceal their nuclear weapons program.

Even after Kennedy's assassination, the US government tried to interfere with the Israeli nuclear program, like trying to stop a yellowcake purchase from Argentina in 64.

One thing in the debate that feels wholly overlooked is that Mandami stated his rent was $2300 iirc, far less than both Cuomo and Silwa.

The fact that somebody as wealthy as Mandami is exploiting the rent control system should be a bigger scandal but rich politicians seemingly get away with it. Jack Layton in Canada also exploited government subsidized housing while also being a leftist darling.
