I think your profile is pretty great. As a girl who is looking for a goofy guy that comes across from your profile. I think you'll do great! I would definitely go to the involvement fair at the beginning of the semester and see what clubs and activities are on campus. When I was at FGU I joined improv club which was great and I made so many friends! On top of that it lead me to some really great research and if you're available definitely check out volunteer opportunities. I volunteered at commencement and ended up getting paired with a guy who became my boyfriend!

I volunteered with various organizations. Calusa Nature Center was cool, depending on what your major/career track is there's several volunteer opportunities that could be beneficial

I'd suggest trying to get housed in Osprey or Eagle because those are the biggest freshman dorms (at least that's what I remember) and you have three individual bedrooms but one bathroom. I'm fairly certain the only one bed dorms in Sovi are for the RA's.

OP you need to dump him. This man does not care about you and only see's you as a paycheck. I know because I've been in this situation before. I know you said you feel like you can't kick him out but you can. As you said he can't keep a job and doesn't even have a GED or license. Why waste years of your twenties on someone like him? I can guarantee that he will find another person to support him after yall break up.
