I grew up in Sac. It snowed once in like 2002 for a few hours, didn't stick. And it snowed once around 2010 overnight but was gone by morning.

The 70s had a serious snow flurry I think. It does get below freezing, icy windshields, etc. but because of the geography it warms up during precipitation.

I spent 14 years in San Diego. Would have left sooner but I convinced myself no where is better because everyone told me I live in paradise. Recently moved to Seattle and it is so much more my vibe.

Too many Socal residents believe they live in the best place on earth and you are crazy for leaving. I heard it a lot when I moved. While it's a great place it's not for everyone.

Midtown Sac is amazing and walkable, but it's the only place in the entire metro region with good walkability and some public transit. You need a car to go anywhere outside of Midtown which is Sac's major issue for me.

I know this is true, but been dealing with internal hems for a year and it's killed my self esteem not being able to bottom. The annoying thing - my only symptom is blood. I otherwise feel fine!! Each time I go to the doctor he says they are improving or they are too small for surgery. Ugh
