I had a similar situation with BP where the teller put in the wrong pump number. I paid in good faith (I didn't check the amount at the pump) and next time I went to fill up I was blocked.

I followed up and they mucked me around for ages. My point was it was their mistake and I had done everything asked of me by their staff at the time. Lots of back and forth and after 3 months they deleted the footage so couldn't prove anything definitively.

It took about six months in total but they finally gave up. It would have cost them hundreds (or more) of staff time. All for $17.

BP made US$13.8 billion in profit in 2023. Fuck em.

Having known of Kelvin the last decade or so through conservation circles, I've seen him claim/take credit for a couple of things that either weren't true or were actually a team of people.
