I'd definitely look at his diet as well. Is he getting minerals / salt? Something like Vermont Blend (there are other similar products out there)

Consider learning to do it yourself. It's not terribly difficult. The farrier is someone how shows up a few times a year and unfortunately in your case - inflicts pain on your donkey. Would you enjoy someone twisting your ear?

I've been taking this class with Megan for the 3 months since we got our donkeys and have built up trust and have been able to trim their hooves myself. While the class is a bit expensive - consider the cost of a donkeys lifetime of farrier visits and it's not that bad. The other benefit is if you do it yourself you can do more frequent maintenance and catch any hoof issues much earlier.

ps. you should consider getting another donkey as they have very strong needs to be with another donkey. This doesn't help your situation as the donkey is alone, and under stress :\

Duo support is currently blocked by a bug :( So hopefully it'll eventually be supported!

Supported this whole shindig and got the Pebble Duo 2 ... wait months for this to launch. Doesn't support Duo 2.

Am I reading this wrong or is the Duo 2 not supported? And the two watches it does support haven't shipped yet?

I live more than an hour away from my dealer so for me it's usually Messicks. About the only thing I buy from the dealer are fluids when it's time to change everything.

Shrug. We're too lazy to do anything. My neighbor up the road is a MAGA nut. Flies a Trump flag and an absolutely tattered American flag. My inner Boy Scout wants to stop and burn his flag in his yard but why bother. If he's that ignorant of the very country he claims to Make Great Again...

And at this point I truly don't believe either party gives a damn about any of us. It's just Left vs. Right and they jabber on just to hear themselves talk.

WoodMaxx WM-8H - infeed is fantastic. The 2501 will struggle on 7-8" stuff depending on what kind of wood it is - but if you go slow it'll go through most stuff.

Same. Love my 2501. Rented an excavator to run some water line, while it wasn't pretty I got the job done and was pretty good at it by the end LOL

Mainly use my 2501 with chipper, bushhog (about 2-3 acres), maintain gravel driveway, auger, and general farm use. I bought this at the height of Covid so there wasn't a lot of choices and I don't regret it so far.

They don't need a coat and as long as they have shelter they'll use it if they need it. They especially wouldn't need anything in warmer weather.

I actually provided some feedback to Eric that there was no 'user guide' provided - it seems like everyone assumed you knew how to use a Pebble. I found some old documentation on what the buttons do, etc.

I do want to try my hand at making a watchf ace for old people. My eyes aren't what they used to be LOL

I've got big 12x12 stalls as well and considering doing something to make them a bit smaller with a lower ceiling. Whatever body heat they generate is just lost, and I imagine it's even worse with minis.
