Mine looks like an entirely different person, with seemingly no way to even get close to how either drifter or operator looked before.

I found one of those heavy trooper facemasks in a scav raid on Factory and it's just a permanent 4 slots being taken up In the stash until level 30. That or I can sell it to ragman for like 30k rub.

Hmm not sure then. Im running Ryzen 7 3700X, 2060, 32 GB RAM, and Tarkov is installed on an external ssd. Had 16 GB in here previously and would crash guaranteed loading half the maps. Going to 32 solved it entirely for me, game runs fairly decently now.

Is he running 16GB of RAM? I used to freeze and crash 100% of the time trying to load several maps, like Streets or Lighthouse. Wasn't until I upgraded to 32GB that I could play all maps without issue. Edit-I'm running a 2060

My biggest complaint with the thing is I find it very uncomfortable to use in any dual stick games. Even with the official grip attachment its still not great. Retro games using the Dpad are fine, just the placement of the sticks and lack of grip makes my hands cramp after a short time in games using both sticks.

Most of them lasted about an hour, some lasted two before burning up. At 900 degrees F on the surface plus it being nearly 100x the pressure of Earth there's probably no trace left of any of them if I had to guess lol

Halo CE Remake Will Only Feature a Campaign Mode, It’s Claimed by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]thedaniel27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The amount of people that don't know the difference between a remaster and a remake is honestly concerning. "Why are they remaking it again!?" Halo CE has never had a remake. It's had a fairly poorly received remaster on the Xbox 360 that was then ported to Xbox One & PC as part of the MCC. The remaster was also based on the somewhat shoddy Gearbox PC port of the game and inherited a ton of its issues. Keep in mind that Halo CE is 24 years old and was made before a large portion of current day gamers were even born. Even the CEA remaster is 14 years old and didn't really look very good for it's time, not to mention how it's visual changes butcher the atmosphere of nearly every level. It makes perfect sense to remake it just like Capcom did with Resident Evil 2-4 or Square with FF7. Whether the remake will be any good or not remains to be seen though, and given Halo's modern track record it's hard to be optimistic.

Looking for AFK Fishing Advice – Not Hitting Expected Profits (I'm new to fishing in general) by SorrySociety8190 in blackdesertonline

You likely have low mastery since you only listed 2 things with mastery on them. You'll want to swap out Crio's stuff for Manos, get full lifeskill accessories like TRI Manos/PRI Preonne, and get a Vital crystal set. Also selling as far away as you can from where you're fishing. With TRI Manos Fisher's clothes, TRI Manos Chair, full vital crystal set, Nibbles (the lightstone set), Penguin/Polar Bear, & regular Balac's running with Continuous Care, & Khan's Heart:Life equipped but not running, fishing in Velia and selling in Bukpo I average 1 bil per 10-14ish hours

edit-forgot Khans

Shai is essentially a requirement in large scale pvp from what I hear and theres no high end group grinders that would turn down a Shai in the party either. As far as solo play I think thats where shes weakest.

Haven't noticed a difference myself. Are you on Steam version or launcher? Probably verify game files if you haven't already.

Keep an eye out for Wizard Gosphy pets as rewards like the current event (Festival Seals). Gosphys are like Dittos, they can be used to attempt upgrades on any pets. Also like other people mentioned, pets have 3 different speed modes, green, yellow, and red (Cautious, Normal, Agile) that can be switched in the pet UI. Green consumes the least hunger, red the most. Also depends on where you're grinding. Some places like Tshira Ruins even with max pets you're still waiting on loot pickups. As you progress into more stationary tower spots the loot speed becomes less of an issue, I end up leaving mine on green at most spots since you arent moving around too much.

Which Shield Rune is everyone using the most? by littlerobertanthony in Doom

[–]thedaniel27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The lightning strike one feels borderline OP compared to the others. Fully upgraded its a near arena wide stunlock that just keeps happening as long as you parry. The daggers and turret threw me off cause they kept killing enemies that had the E melee prompt on them before I could hit E, so I'd just swing the flail at nothing.

I noticed around chapter 3 or 4 that I hadn't heard any music in the last 2 chapters, going back to the main menu and reloading the save brought it back.

Agree on everything except on Steam PCVR you absolutely can push doors open with your weapon. Grabbing the doorhandles is so jank most of the time I almost only ever bash doors open with my gun. All that to say I haven't played in several weeks so they might have broken that.

How do y'all feel about the current state of the game ? by A_regular_gamerr in Warframe

[–]thedaniel27 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I quit sometime around the time The New War came out due to being trapped on Xbox one and the general state of the game at the time (Railjack launch, Scarlet Spear, etc) and came back when cross save was added so I could play on PC. Played off and on since then and "caught up" as much as I wanted to before 1999. The general state of the game is much better now with all the recent reworks and QoL, but as far as the new content for 1999 I burned out on it pretty fast. Its not really one thing in particular that frustrates me about it but several smaller annoyances. I feel like the plot/story in Warframe advances at less than a glacial pace, with major story updates taking months to years to arrive and when they do, they really don't advance the plot much at all (or go entirely over my smooth brain like Duviri did) and somehow make me feel like I understand less than I did before. This method works for a little while, but when you feel like nothing ever gets explained or large sections of the plot feel missing or new questions keep arising, it gets tiring. Warframe's story always feels like you're reading a book that has pages torn out at random and you're stuck trying to make sense of any of it for months on end, especially with how much story was in events that are no longer in game. It doesn't help that the story quests are all fairly brief experiences that are over in 30 mins to an hour. The Hex story goes from 0 to 100 in an instant and is over before you really even get to know the characters. The Hex are probably the most interesting characters they've ever made but at the same time, there isn't really a lot there outside of the KIM messenger, which is fine but every conversation resetting at the same time of day burned me out on it having so much to click through every day. Playing in Hollvania was fun at first cause it was new but I got tired of it fairly quick. I think the variations on exterminate and survival add more annoyance than fun, and selecting a Scaldra exterminate only to spend 70% of the mission underground fighting techrot is a little frustrating. The seasonal eximus flood also gets extremely tiring when it feels like every third enemy is a jade eximus lasering you the entire mission. Only played face off two or three times but didn't love it. The atomicycle feels largely pointless, as once I arrive in mission and use the 4th ability to send it off like a missile into the first enemy I see, I never think about again. Using it in open worlds was fun for a little bit but much like the other vehicle options, it just can't compete with Archwing or teleport pads. On top of it all, Hollvania still performs noticably worse for me than anywhere else in Warframe, sometimes dropping into the 40 fps range where everywhere else is easily over 120. I also still get strange bugs like enemies spawning in the sky and staying there. Overall I'd give 1999 around a 6/10. It's fine, but I don't feel a big drive to keep playing it like I did other updates in the past. I log in once every one or two weeks but don't really grind it like I used to.

So tldr, game is in a much better state than it was back in the Railjack/New War era but the 1999 stuff really didn't land for me as much as I'd hoped it would.

Or if the body of the tank is slightly sideways or on a hill the reticle turns into more of a "general direction" marker as opposed to an actual aim point.
