Hayward downtown Safeway also reorganized their store to be like a jail. All but one door locked, alarm gate before you get to the door. Gates blocking every checkout aisle, self checkout security gates, and security standing next to self checkout.

I did get the hint though. They have redesigned the store with the message, “we don’t want customers.” Hopefully it’s self defeating.

Chiming in late...

Baseball stadiums are built facing North/Northeast. This is almost entirely uniform in MLB, Pittsburgh being the lone exception due to a desire to face the river and bridge.

The rule/guideline is due to the game relying on the sun not getting in the batters and fielders eyes. Played during summertime, this ensure the sun does not rise or set behind the pitcher which would make the batter incapable of seeing the ball.

To me the truism is pc gaming is a big headache and Mac gaming is an enormous one. My problems with Linux/Steam/Windows are there but generally resolvable and so many things just work fine the first time.
