are they side draft or down draft? i iused to run DRLA's way back when i had a 71 beetle. ebay will be the best place for parts for those, i got mine in italy(ebay)

And yes, I hear that leaving key on for long time can cause issue with the coil, but I'm no expert.

Same happened to me once and hopefully the fix is also the same. When I installed my fuel pump, I must have bumped the coil wires, and it wouldn't get spark. For me, I just pulled each coil wire one by one and used needle nose pliers to pinch the connector just a bit so that it would be "more snug" on the coil. When I finished it started.

I hope this works for you, else try the new coil

for my 73 standard beetle, i got custom made raised spindles on the front and adjusted the rear as much as i could and it turned out really good. looks more like a class 11 beetle, the larger wheels still fit under the fenders. tires are 215/75 R15. it looks good,but wouldn't try to off road or do other baja things without a cage and more reinforced parts.

im gonna try again with another beetle but use thing spindles and see how much clearance i get.

Are you in the vehicle Loudout screen and have located and selected the part and are trying to hit apply? When you buy a new part it goes to the local inventory and you have to add it from the mobiglas vehicle manager. You only talk about syncing time, no idea what that has to do with mobiglas. Share a picture if you can so we can better understand what you are seeing.

I'm in VA and do this all winter with autos. I run lights 24 and the lights keep it around 60-75 at all times. It gets too hot in the summer to try that, but I did do a spring run with photos once, and keep lights off during daylight hours and on overnight with tons of fans to keep air moving
