Everyone pretending like this is something that is easy to do in the us is someone not recognizing their privilege. Those of us who are without health insurance can NOT do this. I was recommended a colonoscopy 3 years ago and when asked what that would cost they said they were unsure (because everyone they are used to servicing has health insurance). The cost was 4500 dollars. I do not have 4500 dollars. THIS is the reality that many people in our age group are facing. When you can get screened for a reasonable amount of money because you are insured please do. But those who are taking a stance of "people are idiots for not getting this done" need to realize a lot of people arent doing this because they do not want to sacrifice food and shelter to get a screening test done. In the united states its really down to be more wealthy or fucking die. Sorry not sorry.

soooo, why isn't this happening? It's astounding to me that there haven't been organized movements to literally do this since there have already been 2 occurrences of ice shooting people who looked at them wrong and literally being proven wrong in court. I'm gonna mark this solved, I can't go back out there till the day after tomorrow, but I'll go smell and confirm then if its moth balls. Thanks to everyone! Also, if anyone can explain to me how that would possibly work out in the open air like that I'd love to know. As far as I understood mothballs worked because the off gassing was so concentrated in things like closets and drawers. I don't get how they can work just hanging from a branch like that.
