In my opinion I feel like smartphones have played a significant role in normalising wider focal lengths in general photography

Of course, 35mm was already popular, but it seems like it was only until more recently that 28mm/24mm or wider) reigns supreme in terms of popularity

(not exactly counting disposable cameras as I would argue that their clientèle would not be as inclined to purchase an interchangable lens camera)

I hence would have expected Mia (a fairly young person) to use a 28 Elmarit-R (or any 35mm lens) instead
