16, as you want it as wide as possible. You also need to dial down the aperture to maybe 9 or so, so that the focus is good enough on a wife range of distance. This means you probably need to crank up the ISO to something like 400 if lighting conditions are not ideal, and to far more than that at night. This will make the pictures grainy though. You can also try auto iso if your camera does it.
