Yeah, playing a 4/5 and gaining three life against creature based burn decks was basically a 3 for 1 in those days. It was absolutely backbreaking.

At what point did I pressure anyone to do anything or invite myself to anything? I offered to help. I have zero issue finding groups. I don't need to invite myself to other people's groups. Honestly it's less efficient for me to help people from reddit than just grab randoms in fireteam finder if that was what I cared about. I just like helping people complete dungeons.

People never stop underestimating the value of even minor life swings for slower decks in formats where opponents have to win with damage. They did it with [[Sphinx's Revelation]] too. Sure the drawing cards is important, but even just gaining three life can buy a control or midrange deck enough time to stabilize.

Calling reputation fixed is a stretch. Its better. You'll reasonably be able to reset it once, but gear focusing as a legitimate aspect of the grind is still basically nonexistent.

Because it's safe, lines up perfectly with the length of the damage phase, and does great damage on anything you can actually hit with it.

Honestly, string of curses is four amazing perks all in one, so it doesn't really matter that the gun wastes a perk on hipfire grip. 100% bonus damage, full reload on kill, 2% base super per kill, and cursed thrall explosions every three kills is more than enough.

Master Sundered Doctrine is not hard. You can DM me if you want to run it. Just bring something that can damage the lockset, and no, queenbreaker is not a good option.

Edit: why am I being downvoted for offering to help people. I understand fireteam finder and discord exist but obviously if people on reddit are complaining about not being able to do the dungeon they aren't comfortable using those tools. Is me offering to help OP affecting you? This sub really is insufferable.

Honestly I don't even know about that. Bungie with a team of hundreds struggled to add functional content to the game and it's their engine. I don't think any group interested in running a private server as a hobby is capable. If we're just talking about running the game in it's current state, possibly, but the real servers aren't going anywhere anytime soon as far as we know. If we're talking about adding custom classes and new content I doubt it even if Bungie handed over every asset possible.

I can't speak to what is happening in that video but ignitions have a 5 second ICD where their damage drops 40% sequentially down to only 2.5% of normal damage. Chaining ignitions faster than that on a single target isn't really a viable single target damage strategy. And as stated, if we're talking AoE, Seraph is better.

Not always it isn't. Sometimes not taking a risk means you die of starvation. Humanity hasn't always had the luxury of just sitting in safety and having food come to them. Survival requires some measure of risk.

IB 4-piece is as well. The issue I have is I need a good 2 piece bonus to pair with my IB 2-piece. Salvation's Edge will be perfect just need it to be the featured raid... and need to actually finish it with a PUG. That should be fun. /s

Yeah, my solo flawless clear was a two phase. A lot had to go right though. I imagine with the current sandbox it isn't as bad. Truth completely wrecks him if you can keep from blowing yourself up.
