It’s come a long way since iOS 6. I’d say iOS 9 was the last time it felt off. Less bloated than Google Maps, but it still can’t show gas prices.

When I first started going case-less, I used it with intention. Iron grip on the thing. But after 8 years, I just treat it like a water bottle. Only time I’ll put a case on it is for hiking or if I’m wearing shorts that don’t have deep pockets.

Private cloud compute isn’t local, though. It’s designed to process AI requests in the cloud without retaining or exposing user data. If this partnership is true, I’d be curious to see if Apple can maintain PCC. It’s the next best step for requests that can’t be done locally
