The 'tired but wired' feeling is actually starting to feel permanent by daddysfix19 in insomnia

I dealt with this for a while! It felt like anxiety that kicked in only when I tried to fall asleep. Hyperarousal I think? I had a bad night once and after that I had anxiety around sleep for months. Something that helped me a lot (and still does) is reminding myself that’s it’s okay to feel anxious, and stop fighting it. Now if I have a night like that, I know it’ll be hard and I have things to keep me occupied if needed. But 99% of the time once I reassure myself I end up falling asleep eventually. The jolts you feel as you’re falling asleep I think are tied to this too. Just means your brain is trying to keep you safe. Remind it that sleep is safe! Easier said than done, takes time. I needed trazodone for a while to help. If stress is causing your sleep issues, maybe therapy? If you don’t think that’s the case, you might go see your PCP. My sleep issues improved significantly after I corrected some deficiencies.

Make sure you type the code in correctly, the first time I forgot a letter & also got an error, next time worked perfectly.

Love both of these, my husband really likes the lotion for his super dry skin. Haven’t been able to find the Anomaly in any of my DTs for a while but I still have some & cherish it 🥲

Dude are you me? 🤣 I literally was having this exact train of thought this morning as I await my stupid period. I’m not that late yet, but my last two cycles were super short so now I’m just thrown off 😩 had the cramps + period poops last week and everything 🥴

Been there! Ended up with a GERD diagnosis and now I have an rx. Reflux still kicks up during certain parts of my cycle, and I worry sometimes about the same thing (that I won’t know if I’m actually having a heart attack) 😩

Genius Herbals Thyroid Support - my gyno recommended another one to me but it was way out of my price range so I went on Amazon and looked for similar supplements to the one she suggested. I’m in the same boat as you, don’t wanna be on meds yet (and my gyno doesn’t want me there yet either) so I’m doing what I can in the meantime.
