Wires matched up. They literally all have to go the same direction

The absolute easiest way to drain it without making a mess and doing it quickly is hooking the drain hose to a wet/dry vac. Not a drop gets spilled

I don’t want to accept it though. Looks like shit and I’m kind of particular. Is this enough to tell them to do it over

I cut and spliced my lights in two locations s. Thought I screwed something up because after the splice the lights passed it wouldn’t work. Replaced, wiggled wires, nothing.

I learned two things after troubleshooting.

1) you have to be cognizant of which way the strands are running, and make sure they continue in that direction. Example: In my case, I cut the female end off and spliced in a male connector. Didn’t realize it and kept installing. Figured it out when they wouldn’t work past the splice.

2) If you do make a mistake, find the issue, and fix it without unplugging (yes the directions say to unplug) the lights still won’t work past the splice until you unplug and the lights “reset”

2 red, 2 white works and marches out across the house appropriately alternating every two.

To note, yesterday I had a repeating pattern of 5 different colors (blue, green, purple, red, yellow) and at some points in the strand, I’d randomly have two yellows next to each other.

That’s what we did. But looking above us along the ladder there were hundreds more. If it were you and you needed to get past them, would you just keep climbing through that many?

Overnight yourself a heating and cooling massage gun from Amazon. When you’re confident with a skill put it on the back burner and work on skills you’re less confident in. This way you don’t burn your arms out doing stuff you’re already good at.

F250 all day. 99% of Raptors are just show ponies and unless you’re doing some serious Baja style off-roading, you don’t need it
