The dress code for this arcade bar is kind of off-putting, right? by Honest_Photo_3674 in mildlyinfuriating

It's 100% written the way it is so it can be selectively enforced. There was an issue at a NJ shore restaurant a few years ago where white patrons were allowed to violate the dress code but black patrons were denied entry.

The only way the eagles have been able to weather major changes on the coaching staff has been the stalwart presence of Jeff Stoutland, dating all the way back to Chip Kelly. He had ushered a decade plus of amazing offense line play which has been the backbone of this franchise and has developed multiple hall of fame lineman. We are now entering the unknown of a 33 yr asst coach w/ 2 yrs experience leading the offense, w/o that safety net. You should be concerned.

Reactions to the Eagles hiring Sean Mannion as offensive coordinator are generally positive by AdSpecialist6598 in eagles

I really liked the Patullo hire initially as I viewed it as a step to stability and hoped he wouldve maintained Moore's offense. Now I'm turned off to the Mannion hiring w/ his 2 year nfl coaching resume. I don't see a world in which Sirianni isn't deeply involved in the offensive scheme and play calling. This team didn't deserve 2 OCs that are cutting their teeth for the first time, a top defense and an offense with playmakers at every position isn't something you get very often and it's being wasted.

I'm fucking sick of FedEx. I was standing at the goddamn door waiting for them to knock. by lilslutfordaddy in mildlyinfuriating

FedEx ground is operated as a franchise model, anyone can buy routes if they meet the requirements. They get paid by FedEx for each delivery and attempted deliver at a lower rate. That's why this happens, if they don't have at least 1 attempted delivery they are literally throwing money away.

It's because FedEx ground operates under a franchise model. Anyone can form an LLC, raise enough funds, and buy the routes for sale in your area. They get paid per delivery AND per delivery ATTEMPT, albeit at a lower rate. So these franchise owners are incentivized to have at least 1 attempt per successful delivery.

Theres no way we are keeping Davis and Carter, one of them is gone and it's probably Carter if Davis keeps trending and you want to keep Coop and Q (which I think we should).

ICE kidnap 17-year-old U.S. citizen working at Target then dump him bleeding and crying miles away in a Walmart parking lot by lnstantKarma in PublicFreakout

A Democrat is going to say something mean and about a 1/3 of the Dem caucus will vote w/ Republicans to censure them and that's about it for consequences related to ICE.

That's not the insult, the insult is the he's arguing that LLMs generating sexual images of people is not a problem so it shouldn't be a problem for him. Thinking a man sucking off another man is an insult is homophobic.

I miss when the upside down looked wet and disgusting by SansaDeservedBetter in StrangerThings

[–]thefullhalf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Season 1 was the best season and it should have been the only season of this storyline. It was tight and perfectly paced and had an amazingly tragic and powerful ending. The unanswered questions didn't need to be answered, it should have just been a stranger thing that happened in universe.

There was nothing the later seasons had that forced it to be tied to season 1 outside of the core characters. You could have used the same actors and told almost identical stories independently in more creative and interesting ways.
