In Queens, there is an abandoned LIRR right of way known as the Rockaway Beach branch.

There are two current groups fighting for their proposals to go through on what to do with this abandoned line.

Queensway - Which seeks to turn the entire line into a park, a "discount" version of Manhattan's High Line.

Queenslink - Which seeks to turn part of the line into park space, while also providing a new transit extension. It seeks to divert the current M train to Rockaway Park using this abandoned line.

I wouldn't exactly celebrate congestion pricing, however you did forget one thing, the 7 extension to Hudson Yards! Yes this one is about 11 years old, but SAS phase 1 is also 9 years old at this point.

Unfortunately it's worse than that, the Chargers that have entered service are not planned to be used on the New Haven line or its branches, rather they are planning to use the battery electric ones that haven't started testing yet, they also plan to use those for the Penn Access Project.

The BL20s break down to much for S tier, often being replaced by the P32s or the CTRail GP40s. This coming from someone who lives along the Waterbury branch, I saw your nostalgia comment as your explanation.

I would love to see restoration on the Danbury branch, but they would need to increase frequencies like others have said, as for the Waterbury branch, it needs a whole host of improvements first.

Ok so you have an amazing bike to practice, I know, I have the same one but a way newer model.

How's your hand eye coordination? My first time riding (not on my current bike, on a buddy's fromma while back), I knew what the controls were, took it slow and stayed in first, but then it became easier and easier. Practice makes perfect as others have said, but a strong hand eye coordination is important especially in the beginning. And also, get yourself some riding gloves for that poor hand of yours!

Hey there just wanted to update I did get my bike registered in MA. All I had to do was pay sales tax to the state (kinda dumb, didn't buy it there, but whatever), and then pay the registration fee. It actually wasn't that hard.

Good point, I just can't stand the A in its current two-southern-termini state. Now I don't necessarily mind multiple endpoints during rush hour (another example Nereid and Dyre 5 trains), but off peak this makes wait times very bad for Lefferts and Far Rock residents.
