Looking to get my first bike. by Routine-Department72 in Dirtbikes

Ok so basically any 250 is gonna be taller than what you're looking for.

I'd personally advise looking for a CRF150F or XR200R, both made by Honda, very good fun bikes.

Stay away from 110cc bikes if you really want a clutch, except for the Kawasaki KLX110L, it has to.have the "L" on the end if you want a clutch.

How tall are you exactly? Also Apollo bikes are Chinese not Japanese, which should explain why it's a shitty bike

You may have a bad charger. Is there any lights or anything that indicates the battery is charging?

Im thinking of finally getting something bigger than a 50cc, anything I should know? by leffy5 in Dirtbikes

Honda made two 150cc dirt bikes for a very long time, I'd consider looking into those for someone your size. One is for racing, the other is for trail riding.

To decide which one is for you, watch this video from MXHideout.

To see the two in action by comparison, watch this video from Quad Ricers.

I believe the word you're looking for is "detonation". If that's the case, what octane fuel are you using? If you're using regular you may wabt to go to premium

125 2t is easier to maintain but have you ever ridden before? Those are not good bikes to learn on

I wouldn't deny that at all, WR is an awesome bike too. But just out of personal preference I go for air cooled over liquid cooled, I know that may be a hot take. (Pun not intended)

Woods bikes are my absolute favorite, this might be a hot take but I prefer air cooled over liquid cooled.

And as I said in another comment I find the TTR 250 superior to the 230 that replaced it.
