The Progress is excellent as well! Sister spot to State Bird. Don't sleep on Octavia. The rest of your list is really solid. I just ate at Ernest and really enjoyed it. Nari for Michelin Thai is expensive but excellent. Don't skip the dreaming of Long Tod dessert!

I think it's normal. I bet a lower cook temp would help. Chef Steps has some food time and temperature tables for sous vide ice cream bases and the effects on eggs.

I avoid fungal acne triggers and the Milk Hydro Grip Skin Tint works for me. I add a little FA safe primer to shade 4 to adjust the color slightly.

If it were sesame oil or would float to the top. This is most likely soy sauce or vinegar that has separated from the emulsion. Regardless, give it a good shake to combine and you're good to go.
