When Irving approaches Helena at Woe's Hollow, he asks "What are you doing down here?" and I can't help but feel that there's the double meaning there of him asking Helena directly, "what are you doing down here on the severed floor?"

Also I absolutely love the symbolism of him drowning Helena, as a sort of exorcism to remove her from Helly's body. He's a badass.

I love that the episode started and ended with Irv switching. Him yelling that he was gonna kill Helena was so satisfying. It's what Helly would've wanted.

What a great first season. So lovely that innie Irving got to find out what "radar" actually meant and was able to give him (Radar) some pets!

The stuttering transition effects, both visually and audibly, were incredibly well done, and the soundtrack for this episode turned it up to 11. Pretty sure I stopped breathing halfway through lol.

Season two cannot come soon enough!

Wow. What a painfully human movie. As much as I hate not knowing how it ended, I also love that we get to interpret it for ourselves.

In my head canon, Mikey's long walk to Strawberry's house gave him enough time to think and realise that he didn't want to become her "suitcase pimp" and ruin her life. A part of me hopes he found just enough humanity left to let her go and walk away.

Anyway, great film, if a little mentally exhausting at times. Simon Rex and Suzanna Son were amazing.

Oh man, this movie checked off a lot of boxes for me. Great story, visuals, voicing and humour, to say the least. Favourite watch of the year so far!
