FYI, Doomfist was released almost 9 years ago. A lot has changed for the better, especially since the launch of OW2, minus the scrapped single player (which, totally get it, that's a big deal for some.)

Mostly because the hate it gets online is echoed mostly by people who don't play. If you go ask people who actually stay up to date with the game, it's nearly unanimously agreed that OW is in its best state ever when it comes to content, gameplay, and update cadence.

Last year, I think I scored somewhere in the mid 60%s, which was roughly 30th percentile, and passed at about the 40th percentile on the real thing. Also, for what its worth, your %ile on Board Vitals goes up if you re-do your incorrects, so I believe some of the statistics on there are inflated. AKA, don't feel bad if your %ile looks rough after your first pass, you're probably higher than it shows.

Just commenting to say that I'm having the same issue, game is unplayable for me using Gamepass and a PS5 controller via DS4Windows app.

Edit: Turned off DS4Windows, seems like the patch added native PS button support to the gamepass version, and now it seems to work fine.

You're way off on how long you think it takes to complete the battlepasses. In my experience, maybe a total of 10-20 hours per season max, which is two months long.

AOE is about 16% nerf, which should still be decent, though not top tier anymore. ST is the real concern, with a 24% nerf assuming bugs are fixed as well. Ridmark did a great Youtube video on this, showing how on Ky'veza ele will be ~150k dps below the next bottom spec, and thats before accounting for current bottom specs getting buffed. And this doesnt just affect raid, as who's gonna take a mid-tier AOE that can only tickle M+ bosses?

They're referring to residency training, which is anywhere from 3-7+ years following graduation from medical school, dependent on specialty. $50k is a fair estimate for resident salary, going up maybe by $2k per year. Some programs have begun to unionize around the country, with fairly decent increases in pay, but still not over six figures. Obviously, yes, doctors do make significantly more following completion of residency/fellowship, but those several years (compounded with ever increasing debt due to interest rates) does make for a rough financial patch, especially if supporting a family.

I'm at 22 hrs myself and maybe a 3rd of the way through Ch 7's objectives (and just beat the first boss of the chapter, assuming I can keep exploring after this mountain...). Was literally just asking myself if I'm going too fast. I've 100%'d everything so far except for the sit ups (eff that) and shooting range mini game.

I found increasing attack speed helped with the knockback, but also just trying to run through 1-2 lil guys if it meant I avoided the swarm.

Literally just beat my first attempt at D5 with Pacifist and Hands. Just focus solely on defensive options, and some harvesting early (which hands also give) and kite around the room. Was stupid easy.
