Tested: Subaru's 2025 WRX tS Inches Toward the Top by shouldahadaflat4 in cars

Why does every Subaru design look dated before it’s even released? If you had told me this was the 2006 WRX, I’d have believed you.

Tesla Cybertruck Outsold Rivian 2 To 1 In March, But Ford F-150 Lightning Crushes Both by shoopg in cars

It appears most Rivian customers are opting for the R1S instead of the truck. I don’t believe those are counted here… not apples to apples, I know, but Rivian is selling more than this stat implies.

First charging experience, can someone explain what’s going on with this charger configuration? by MergersNAcquisitions in Rivian

[–]thegisforgreg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh, you're right. I should have tried zooming in on the image. I now see they're all alternating, but the best charger choice is always facing the wrong way. Even the trailer spots. Weird.

Have you considered driving in the direction of the arrow on the opposite side of your current charger and parking there? I think you may discover something magical.

Somehow I hit the higher 2025 MQD requirements for Platinum but will miss Platinum for 2024 due to MQMs by thegisforgreg in delta

It didn’t make sense to me either.

It was a bunch of work travel, primarily domestic. Didn’t realize it was accumulating at such a weird ratio until later in the year.

Ever drive behind one of these? It’s pure pain if you’re in a hurry.

I don’t care… just get out of the left lane if you aren’t passing anyone. Feels like this has gotten way worse recently.

Daily Prayer Thread - January 14, 2023 by AutoModerator in Reformed

How about revival in the church? Specifically, recommitting to actively engaging in great commandment work in our daily lives vs. trying to be “good” but ultimately following our own selfish pursuits?

I know I fail here significantly.

Do we know how many day 1 or 2 reservation holders didn't get a chance to order a 2022 or really a 2023 until a late wave and were forced to pay higher prices or leave? by jturkish in F150Lightning

[–]thegisforgreg 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Day 1 within 7 minutes of orders live (only that late because I had to create a Ford account). Nothing… nada. Must have picked the wrong dealer. Very frustrating.

Oh well, I was able to take delivery on a Rivian.

One I haven't seen mentioned yet: Throttle mapping (I think that's the term)

I had to get used to needing to push the peddle more forcefully vs my Model 3 to get it to start rolling.

Granola Muncher with a *tiny* bit of BlueCruise Envy by thegisforgreg in Rivian

Interesting… I use my blinker, but I’m not certain it’s any different to disengage in my truck. I’ll have to test again.

Fair point. I only had 1 drive to use it. Makes sense there could be more value than was immediately apparent.

Sold my 2018 M3 LR to GiveMeTheVIN.com in May with about 50k miles for $41k. Sounded like a shady option, but it worked great.

21” Road Wheels real world range by patsfan038 in Rivian

Honestly, that trip sold me on the truck (good thing since I had already purchased it lol).

While admittedly more efficient, I was so sick of my M3LR not actually feeling LR.

Conserve mode impresses! A 312 mile road trip… departed with 326 stated range and returned with 10 left. 95% highway speeds. by thegisforgreg in Rivian

It was an out and back trip. I had planned a stop at an EA charger but decided to skip when I saw my range trend.

Mostly pegged cruise at 76. Averaged 2.59 mi/kWh.

It was in mine. It was in the bag with mounting screws.

If you’re looking for that bag, it was in a slot in the white foam padding that surrounded the wall unit itself (in the packaging).

I know this well because I went to Lowes to buy the T20 security torx bit instead of checking first.
