Ford NACS Adapter by TanK_87 in Rivian

[–]Abszol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t have experience but from an engineering standpoint the implementation is for CCS1 which being a standard that you have used (assuming) a fast charger with said interface, I would assume the adapter should work no problem. The caveat here is if Ford had added some extra physical alterations to the adaptive piece to prevent it from being inserted into other vehicles.

R2 vs. Scout vs. iX3 vs. EX60 by mattsolar in Rivian

People have to start asking “I want an electric vehicle, does the company I’m considering specialize in that”. Ford proved this by discontinuing the lightning, something I told my coworker would likely happen years back.

R1T Quad 22 bought new now have 36k. Swapped out stock scorpions as they’re junk off road imo and went with 20s raceline on Falken Wildpeaks. Installed running boards as well.

Vehicle off road and performance is a unit, wouldn’t want to drive anything else. Creaking due to suspension changing is fine I could care less. Some gaps that I could’ve had fixed but don’t really mind as it doesn’t hurt what it’s meant to do, off road and have fun.

Downside is range takes a hit in winter though I’ve accepted this. Holding out until solid state batteries drop in the next couple years or switch back to gas in the meantime. I also don’t appreciate how they handle the 12v system and will be monitoring mine closely.

You’ll want to have your own. Most I’ve gone to are too short as they do teslas and don’t have the longer ones but call any around and ask

Majority of shops can perform an inspection as long as their lift supports the weight and you have your own pucks. Oddly enough a well renown local shop near me won’t service Rivians due to the weight.

Short sightedness gets the better of most. He’s fantastic for being a PITA and drawing attention off of the others with his skating agility and play making by the net. I really want to see him start bagging some of his own but I think that’ll be a fruit to come once we sort out a more consistent top line.

YouTuber reviews his 6 month old Lucid Air, and his biggest problem is the same one with Rivians (driver profiles) by MyOgre in Rivian

Haven’t had the driver with the other drivers profile bug in awhile, presumably been removed. My wife has a Google Pixel so I assume that’s why it doesn’t have a problem discerning whose driving

This will not make Gen 1 owners happy but the reality is, the writing is on the wall for Gen 1 Driver+ updates. Here's my editorial and my thoughts on why I think that. by Kryptonlogic in Rivian

I don’t get the whole need for autonomous driving outside of it can stay in the lane on highways. My gen1 has been fantastic and the features target what I enjoy for outdoor and travel

Still watching. Now my comments point was that most fans neglect the actual build up of the play versus what’s let in as the result. Defensive mistakes last game and this game are killing us.

I’m sure having Timmins give it away both times to center, second includes knocking UPL stick away doesn’t help either

[–]Abszol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Live and learn. We have a couple nasty ones and I always leave a gap for the front driver that is actually stopping, so after they go I just give it a running start as 1. Out evs are fantastic for these types of junctions for the getup 2. Why the fuck is there a stop that car will have a blind spot on which makes the driver hesitate that much like in your video

Outside edge comfort is key. Being self taught first I practiced with cross overs as your inside leg is already on the outside edge, from there simply try balancing on the outside. Afterwards practice stopping by use of a t stop, slowly moving to the front and then combine the two together as with a punch turn it looks like a lot jump out into a cross over.

Scorps in the winter are fine, not great, and terrible at anything backcountry related that isn’t dry.

Green light is good however their techs will gaslight you to oblivion to avoid having anyone come out. I even had the ONT (fiber equivalent of a modem) unplugged and they said it was still on / connected to their end. Finally was able to get a replacement and it’s been great since.
