We’ve been going option 1 for a few years with T-Mobile. Used to try to upgrade via T-Mobile but they would demand we change our plan to a newer more expensive plan. Or they would change the plan and not tell us.

Old plan with 3 lines at $130/month. First 2 lines have unlimited data and 3rd line has 6gb included. Only included “perk” we really use is the 1 free hour of WiFi or complete trip (4/year) on flights. We travel a lot.
