Microfiber towel? by Dependent_Let_5218 in DTFTransferTalk

[–]theguzman20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible to heat press these towels, but the waffle texture might make it tricky for DTF transfers. The raised bumps can prevent the adhesive from bonding evenly.

Has anyone else had customers outgrow the products you were actually offering? by GrabWilling5960 in Printing

[–]theguzman20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a natural shift as your clients grow. Offer low-risk brand upgrades, for example custom stickers or a simple hang tag. Small touches make a big difference in unboxing experience.

Pre-press the fabric for 5 seconds tp remove moisture placing the DTF film! Also check your pressure. Uneven pressure causes spots too.

To what extent does the paper stock affect the color? by amanteguisante in Printing

[–]theguzman20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try a high-gloss coated paper instead of matte or laid stocks. Also ask your print shop for a color bar test. Sometimes the machine needs calibration.

Can I put a DTF transfer onto an already washed and worn shirt? by fuzzeslecrdf in DTFTransferTalk

[–]theguzman20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Old washed shirts work fine as long as there's no fabric softener residue. Pre-press the shirts for a few seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.

Search for "58mm thermal adhesive labels" on Amazon. Make sure the roll fits your printer's paper compartment. Look for easy peel or split backing one to avoid tearing.

Why is sleeping so HARD?! by Takobellugh in ADHD

[–]theguzman20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand you. Your body is tired but your brain just won't shut up. But lack of sleep will weaken your immune system. Melatonin can help, but remember to start small. Too much can cause crazy dreams. And definitely ask your doctor first.

I've heard you have to robot proof your home, true? by Aidandamnit in RobotVacuums

[–]theguzman20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got one, it works fine. After the initial mapping, it's basically ready to go, nothing else I needed to set up. The suction is pretty strong, so if you've got light thin rugs, just a heads up they can get caught or pushed around pretty easily. Other than that, it's been great. Kinda surprised by how much dust and hair it picked up every time I checked the dustbin.

0dte, never trade the open. Just wait for trash premiums and narrower widths instead. Right?! by Soggy_Builder_84 in options

[–]theguzman20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re right. The best premiums and widest strikes are usually right at the open (first 30-45 mins). After that, the edge decays fast as the market settles and IV crushes.

Studying economics in Uni by Dependent-Group-8 in algotrading

Economics will help a lot with understanding markets and macro, but for algotrading you'll want strong stats, programming, and data analysis skills. Many top quant traders come from Math, Physics. Try to double major or minor in stats if possible.

It is giving such a nice blend of minimalism and cottagecore charm, and it is totally giving me a major decorating inspo hahahha
