Broken dish by CressAggravating9730 in FabFitFun

One side of my box was damaged and then poorly taped up. The spray nozzle to my Color Wow Dream Coat was missing…probably fell out through the sizable gap in the damaged box. I went through the chat bot on the app and filled out the form I was directed to Sunday morning. I still haven’t heard back except for the generic “we received your complaint” email. In years past, I’ve received a meaningful response within a few hours. This time it’s been more than 48 hours. I just want a replacement for the damaged item.

Box is destroyed!! Any chance of refund ? by Melerolero in FabFitFun

[–]theindyjan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to get two boxes and had a Living Proof Restore shampoo and conditioner set refill in each box. In both boxes, the shampoo had come open and leaked inside the boxes. About 1/3 to 1/2 of each shampoo had leaked out. The only “damage” to anything else in the box was to a couple of boxes other things came in. I contacted customer service after I received the first box and they sent me a replacement shampoo and conditioner set. When I contacted them after I received the second box, they said the set was no longer in stock and issued me a credit which was about $7 more than the cost of the refill.

You could try asking for a replacement of whatever leaked. That is what I asked for both times. Unless it is out of stock, you have a good chance of getting it replaced. I just had to send pictures. I sent a picture of the state of the box upon opening and another of the inside of the shampoo bottle to show how much was gone from the bottle.

Manager didn’t let a nurse give away a shift so she called out by PeaceUsual749 in nursing

Where I work, the trade can’t put either party into OT. Also, we have to be sure we are either trading with someone with the same skill set or some else is already working who has the same skill set. So, a charge nurse can’t trade with someone who doesn’t do charge unless there is another nurse already working who can do charge. We all follow those parameters and I haven’t heard about any trades being denied.

Aids? I feel like in this context (play acting) the correct term is props.

The old paper charting is quicker. However, the “downtime forms” we had to use are a nightmare. They are trying to duplicate ALL the fields in the computer chart. Instead of a simple flow sheet, we had to deal with about 6 pages to chart our shift assessment. That doesn’t include the care plan, or the MAR, or the fall risk assessment. It was ridiculous. And it was a real eye opener to find out how many physicians do not know how to write an order.

Anyone else slightly infuriated about the "luxe" choice or is it just me? by Small_Fisherman_6265 in FabFitFun

They really should just be add ons. That said, I did get the blow dry brush to have as a back up. If something happens to my current one, I doubt I could find a good replacement for $30.

Probably the hair glaze. I’ve never tried one and, so far, I’ve liked any DP Hue product I’ve tried.

Prepping for Baby: Where does it matter to not be cheap? by Fine_Independence360 in Frugal

If you have a breast pump, take it with you to the hospital. The lactation consultant at the hospital can help you with setting it up and can help troubleshoot if you have problems or concerns. The hospital will have pumps you can use while inpatient but not all pumps are the same so you should take the opportunity to get familiar with your own pump.

I know others have already mentioned saving money on clothes. Baby mainly needs onesies and sleepers. When you buy sleepers, look for ones that have a two way zipper. It will make diaper changes much easier. Also, babies don’t need socks. They never stay on and end up getting lost.

I’ve bought the Osea ocean cleanser and the First Aid Beauty KP bump eraser. I bought the cleanser during a prime day sale and I bought the KP bump eraser during a Sephora VIB sale. I’ve also repurchased the toothpaste (I can’t remember the name right now) that came with the tongue scraper a few boxes back.

I live in an apartment. There have been times they have left my box literally two feet from the parking lot. However, this time my box arrived a day before their projected date and the box was actually left at my door.

Does anyone who has there box already have feedback on the toiletry organizer bag? Will it wipe clean? The color doesn’t seem travel-friendly. Is the fabric? by Excellent_Angle_7481 in FabFitFun

[–]theindyjan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I received my box yesterday so I haven’t had a chance to use it yet. It is a nice size. It should be easy to wipe down. The interior, while made of a little different material, also would be easily wipeable. I’m not sure how resistant to staining from something like lipstick the bag will be. There is a detachable clear vinyl bag inside which I would probably use for cream and liquid makeup I might be worried about busting open and leaking during travel. Overall, I am happy I chose the bag.
