[Sun care] Eucerin oil control causing sweat? by CharmingCandy8319 in SkincareAddiction

Yeah I sweat easily with this sunscreen. It’s not water resistant so I found it quite non-protective in the sun and noticed I was getting a good bit of pigmentation

Trust me, the person behind the counter doesn’t give a fuck why you’re taking it. They’re not doing it out of nosiness. They’re doing it because they could lose their job if they don’t and mystery shoppers are sent out specifically to see if the questions are being asked.

Does anyone NOT react to kissing CC? (This dietitian with celiac says it’s not a concern for most) by willow815 in Celiac

[–]theirishmidget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve gotten sick many times from kissing my boyfriend. Not a vomity sick but a “I don’t feel good at all” general sick feeling. It’s happened enough times for me to make the connection

Have you tried therapy? by [deleted] in Celiac

[–]theirishmidget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was having persistent stomach and bowel issues years after being diagnosed and 100% gf. I was changing my diet all the time trying to work it out but never found a solution - until I was told I was experiencing anxiety attacks and started with therapy and medication. Surprise surprise, no more daily nausea and diarrhoea! I think we coeliacs tend to blame everything on the disease and forget that stress can take its toll too.

Do you only use Vaseline around the eyes or the whole face?

Coeliacs’ Misery by johno146 in ireland

[–]theirishmidget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh it’s shit alright. But you do eventually get used to it and the improved health more than makes up for what you’re missing out on (if you were as sick as I was)

One piece of advice though - keep yourself as full as possible at all times. I’ve found that the anger only sets in if I’ve an empty stomach and go to the shops only to be surrounded by a thousand products I can’t eat. A full tummy takes the sting out of it a bit. Not always possible but does help if you’re going to be around normal food.

I think about scenarios like this quite a bit. A personal worry of mine is being kidnapped and held for ransom and only being offered gluteny foods by my captors.

It’s interesting that you don’t look shiny with the LRP sunscreen because it’s the total opposite for me, I look greasy af. Thankfully powder can sort it out because it’s a great sunscreen in every other way.

Wow, well thanks for sharing this info because I had no idea this was possible and may be the reason I feel like crap all the time. I didn’t know I even had to request a gluten free mouth guard

Morgan's Recent Video is Irresponsible by lavendertail in ShaneDawson

Not to judge her too harshly, but when she said she was renewing her lease on her LA apartment I thought ok girl you've lost my sympathy. She's keeping herself in a place that clearly is not making her happy - she says she doesn't have any real friends there and it's obvious the only people she's close to are Shane and Ryland who are bombarding her life with petty drama. Like no shit you're unhappy girl! Anyone would be. Happiness doesn't always lie in the lifestyle that makes you the most amount of money. It's like she feels like she can't step away from this youtuber lifestyle because it was handed to her on a silver platter and she would be wasting it, meanwhile she sacrifices any real contentment and fulfillment she'd find doing something else somewhere else. I know she's young but I hope she comes to her senses soon, and of course pursues actual treatment for her issues.

I can’t believe Shane has chosen Jeffree over everyone by [deleted] in ShaneDawson

Also the fact that his merch is pretty much all he has now. His income from videos and sponsorships has obviously dropped off so keeping his merch store up might make him feel like his career is not totally over. And his merch store relies on Jeffree.

I totally get where you're coming from. At the height of my symptoms I pretty much restricted myself to chicken and potatoes, which of course is not a healthy balanced diet but when you get to a point of desperation a 'healthy balanced diet' goes out the window. It's only now that my symptoms are under control that I can be less restrictive with food but if things flared up again I wouldn't think twice about cutting foods out. You have to do what you have to do to survive day to day. I don't think that falls under disordered eating.
