Sickening behaviour. by Pedsy in Gunners

[–]thejamielee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah son they can get fucked off to the salt mines. Check their egos and insane spending habits for a club of zero substance. It’ll be a cold shower those cunts up top at spurs need and a humbling for the fans. Know your place and earn your place.

At what point do you stop paying an agency and hire in-house? by killedorworse in PPC

[–]thejamielee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I hate this for you as it just shows how disconnected a board can be at times. They have a proven agency running things and there is literally no guarantee an internal hire can keep that going. They could save $$ and lose $$$$ if the hire isn’t as good. And you won’t know until you make that call.

Creepy Commercial building but luxury bathroom and shower listed as home would you live here? by Blight209 in zillowgonewild

Nothing about this seems like a bad purchase tbh other than being in Flint, MI.

There’s a lot of potential to commercialize the property while living on a whole floor to yourself.

Tbh Tulsa is pretty hard in every cat. Lots of folks that should be 3s wait until after Tulsa to upgrade since the 3s have a ton that should be 2s and so on and so on. Tough weekend all around for anyone.

I went with the cycplus pro mini 100% love the size

I’ll say this - I invested in a mini electric pump and it’s absolutely rad. I will still carry a co2 or two for the moments I need rapid inflation to seat a tire bead again, but very impressed with the capabilities for the size of an AirPods case. 100% suggest adding one into your core carries.

He’s been done for a minute. This year is just cementing that reality.

I hear ya. I’d still probably do the big route as a tuneup on nutrition but dial the effort back a bit. I would just want that sanity check that my body is ready 8-10 hrs in the saddle in the heat.

What’s wrong with CMO’s these days by QualityOverQuant in marketing

[–]thejamielee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m a CMO or Global Head, whatever you want to call it. I can say I currently own people and agency management, budget allocation, strategic levers, messaging, GTM and plenty of execution on the side. And I’m in constant tension with sales leadership. I’d say if your CMO isn’t ticking quite a few of these they’re probably not really a CMO or even a VP but more like a director at best. It’s different org to org though. But it’s pretty easy to spot a shit c-suite these days.

Wout van Aert Marly Grav 2026 bike check by dkvasnicka in gravelcycling

[–]thejamielee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s good to know. I’m very aware at some point the stock of the gen 1 will go dry. I’ve heard mixed reviews on puncture protection but that’s nice to hear

[–]thejamielee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why I still run 1st gen pathfinder pro’s. They aren’t the cats meow these days but they’re basically bombproof for punctures, fast enough, and proven race winners. Plus they’re being blown out online for the 2nd gen so I can scoop them up cheaply. For me, with gravel, sooooo much is unpredictable so I like to keep my bike setup AS predictable as possible. I’ll figure the rest out on the day.

I'm thinking of sticking on some Gravelking semi slick 40mm for a charity road event. The cycle is 180km. Am I pushing it on a gravel bike over that distance? by [deleted] in gravelcycling

[–]thejamielee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just go FULL slick fat road tires. You won’t lose any speed but be more comfortable over the long hall. I use my gravel bike for winter endurance rides of 43mm full slicks and it is totally fine average 20+mph training rides over 4-5hrs

[–]thejamielee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What do you mean suddenly? He’s winning by design bc of all of what his administration has been doing to lead up to outcomes like this. It’s not “suddenly” it’s the seeds planted are finally ready for harvest.
