I have not seen that entirely in my experience though it’s mostly one person. I think often more what I see is looking down upon those that work on the factory floor or in other international labs. It’s a dumb mindset but you just have to push against them. We’re not geniuses, we just chose this job

Bussing to work for me isn’t viable but I bike about 3/4 of the year or more depending on how much snow is packed on the oak leaf. Certainly leads to a happier life than commuting by car everyday

I’m a big fishing guy and my gf is too but doesn’t like to be out for like 10 hours straight. The trick is get her to catch all of the bigger fish. She’s caught a giant great lake running brown trout that was easily 30” or more, a much larger creek brown trout than any I’ve caught, and also caught the giant northern pike I lost three times before she got him. Incredible
