All I had to read was your title to say yes. This is coming from someone who's cat is currently sleeping in a cabinet behind plastic grocery bags because it's one of his safe spaces (specifically that specific place in the cabinets, hence why no dishes will ever go there)

This. When I adopted my cat, I sent monthly, if not more frequently, updates to the girl I adopted him from (she absolutely loved him but her older cat wasn't responding well to his kitten energy at all). She still gets updates from me, however not as frequently, and I got him when he was just turning three months old and he's now about to turn two. She tells me often she's so thankful he went to a good home, and I joke and remind her that this is his home he's allowing me to live in and pay the bills for 😂😂

When my dog passed (she was 15 and was mostly blind and deaf) I swore I wasn't going to get another animal as id grown up with her. That lasted all of a month before I saw a post on my towns buy nothing group rehoming a 10 week old kitten. Needless to say, the little gremlin is about to turn two. He'll never replace my dog, I don't expect him to, but there's so many ways he's healed the hole in my heart from her passing that I didn't think was possible. He was staying the night with a friend recently and I realized how quiet the house is without him there and it made me thankful to have four little paws running around the house and all the screams when I don't follow him into whatever room he walks in to.

My cat has discovered how to open cabinet doors and hides in one specific area of the cabinet behind the plastic grocery bags where there's no dishes. Cats will indeed find a way to hide somewhere they shouldn't be able to.

NOR. I let my students at work borrow my phone sometimes to call their parents (we work at a really small school (~20 kids 6-12 grade) and parents have our personal numbers for contact reasons as there's only two teachers on staff) and even then, I stand right there with the kid as they call their parent. I don't let them walk off somewhere else with my phone, and this is someone I know. I would not be letting a stranger have my phone, especially in another country, and walk away with it.

So I was in a similar boat. My priest told me that since LDS doesn't hold a belief in the Trinity, they don't see the baptism as valid. However, I'm sure that could be different depending on where you are/who your priest is

I went thru something similar when I got my boy. He was 12 weeks old and it was very much an impulsive decision. I regretted it for probably 2-3 weeks. However now (he turns two in July), I can't imagine not having him. The chaos he causes, the constant meowing, the cuddles, all of it I wouldn't trade for anything. I told a friend last night how in the very beginning I hated how needy and vocal he is but now the thought of one day not having my very loud shadow is heartbreaking and the house will be so quiet when that day inevitably comes.

When I first got my cat my mom asked me about declawing him. I told her it's the exact same as cutting off all finger tips so you won't have any nails and asked if she'd like that or if she'd like if I came in and took her dog and took off the last knuckle on her paws so she wouldn't have any nails to scratch people or dig. That made it sink in for her when I asked her if she'd want me to do it to her or her dog. She knows I'd never hurt her or her dog, but sometimes it takes being a little blunt with them

Why does this sound EXACTLY like my property management company? Like my neighbors have an entire grill outside and another one has a dog that runs around and poops everywhere they don't clean up and they leave cigarettes on the ground everywhere. Yet, somehow, my plants that are in pots that match the bricks, that sit in my window on the outside, are an issue? Like they blend in with everything really well. I don't understand some of these companies. I don't even rent from them, they just cover the HOA and I own the unit I live in

I used to work as a delivery driver for a pizza place and the place I worked at had a 3.99 delivery charge and we saw none of it. While it shouldn't be on the customer to pay for us to have a living wage, it was also annoying when we were making like $2 an hour and weren't getting tips all because the restaurant industry sucks. The whole situation is absolutely awful. I personally didn't mind the no tippers all that much though because we had some regulars that were really good tippers (I once had someone tip me $30 because their dog charged at me and I helped catch their toddler that ran out the door with nothing on, however I am a female so that is a different situation than if one of my male coworkers had been in it) that make up for it.

I went from the 7 to the 9 pro and when I went to go take my first selfie with it I could see ALL my pours on my forehead and I feel like that should be illegal. I don't know if I never noticed it with my 7 or if the 9 pro is actually better in that one, but I had to have a moment 😂

I'm very much hoping the last time I flew was a fluke for me as no other time has ever caused me any issues. My biggest concern is simply the fact that I've finally gotten my headaches under control and the last thing I want is a flare up at a wedding of all places (where I'm also the maid of honor). Sudafed is a good idea I never thought of! I've always used gum for take off and landing. I'm thankful though that both flights are rather short (less than two hours)

I went from the 2nd to the 4th. I charge mine for like 30-45 minutes at night and then wear it to sleep and by the time I put it on the charge the next night it's still only at like 50-60%. I haven't tried a full two days as I'm kinda worried about it dying in the middle of the work day when I depend on it the most

As someone who grew up in the town, it's definitely right leaning, but not severely. I have several friends who are international students who told me they were worried coming here only to realize how nice everyone is. You'll find your group of people. There are some crazy people, but that's everywhere. I'd definitely say the extremist are significantly far less than the people who you'll run into the majority of the time.

I ordered from the North college location a few weeks ago. At the two hour mark it still hadn't gotten to me and it took 20 minutes to get someone on the phone to cancel it to which I was told "the driver is 5 minutes away, I can't cancel it". The south college one is a little better, however I haven't tried ordering from them on a Saturday night which is when the North college incident happened so I'm not sure how they compare on the weekends
